Kit swore under her breath as she saw the girls had both been hit. She rapidly tried to think of a way out of this situation, but she couldn't think straight and the tall man was coming closer. She quickly shifted into her mouse form and scurried over to where the girls had fallen. If she could stay in her animal form without being seen, she could possibly help them escape later on.

Harold nodded, "Yeah. They used to always talk to me, but then I finally figured out that if I really focused, I could reply." He said. He looked at the rose vine on her arm uneasily, "So, are plants actually alive and sentient? I grow crops, and it seems weird to me that they can even think. They have no organs, no hearts, no blood. Not even a brain. How is it possible? I am a sorcerer, there is great magic, it can heal wounds and such, but a sorcerer still needs every organ in his body to do anything besides die." Harold said. "And, do you eat anything if you have a connection with them? You probably don't eat animals or bugs, but you're still alive. And if you can "speak" to plants, wouldn't you feel guilty killing them? Especially when one is attached to your arm?"

(Harold is bombing her with questions. )

The air grew warm around them and Androit warped to them, the gun still aimed at them.
"The less you cooperate, the more force I am required to use." With his free hand, he retrieved another bizzare object that glowed a brilliant blue, matching the hue of his eyes. He was quick to approach the downed shifter, but paused when another shifter appeared. He turned towards her to analyze the situation, raising the gun. "Halt." But he was surprised not to see an individual there. He detected another supernatural nearby, but they must have shifted into something smaller. He searched about himself before finding an unfamiliar, tiny creature near them.

Indeed they are somewhat sentient, and you just have to know what to listen for...and they don't feel pain...And usually, if you respect nature, and live in harmony with it, they don't mind if you cultivate and use the land to your benefit"

As the figure approached, Alexia struggled against the tranquilizer weighing her down, her heart beating rapidly. She fought to get to a standing position but was unable to stay upright and she collapsed once more.

"Don't I have to? I can't live in the woods like a crazy man, and there are predators. Ah well, I might as well not bother myself with it, I can't change my ways of life so I should probably stop talking about it." Harold said simply and continued walking. He reached the end of the alley and stopped. "I don't know if you'll want to come with me for this. I'm going to dissaparate. It's kind of like transportation, but magic. It's not fun, but it's fast." Harold told her.

(Is it okay if only her kind can "talk" to plants and get a reaction from them? I just don't want everyone talking to plants. )
