She stared at her paws for a moment before looking up at Bailey, "So Shade has changed, I see." she murmured.

Iris nodded her head, "Yes, yes he has." she mumbled quietly as she watched him drag the doe back to camp.

When he saw Shade come back into camp, he lifted his head and looked down onto his pack. "I had to think for quite some time about who would be the best suited for the role." His voice was low, but vehement. "It gives me great pride to know this role will be taken by such a strong and confident wolf." He cocked his head to where Shade stood, "And that wolf is Shade, the male with no mate. He will take on the role as beta male." He spoke confidently.

Shade looked up instantly, dropping the doe in the process as he claimed that the wolf would be the new beta male.
And he didn't have a mate.
"Ehm, Donovan, I do have a mate. It's Iris." he spoke loudly, alerting the hole pack.

Bailey glanced at Iris, then back at Shade, amazed and of course, shocked.
Leaping beside Donovan, she tugged her paw into her torso, "So you announce them both." she whispered.

Iris chuckled awkwardly and looked to her brother who looked like he was about to kill someone. She slowly walked beside Shade who was probobly going to get a long talk about this.


Vince- Lead Hunter

Vince stared wide eyed at his sister, "She got a mate before me, how is that even possible. And it is to that wolf right there." Vince looked at Shade and motioned that he would need to talk to him later. 'Oh this was going to be fun.'

"Excuse me, Alpha Donovan, Iris." he excused himself, staring down Vince, before slowly walking over to him.
He didn't keep his eyes off Vince, considering the walk was around 20 meters away from him.
He eventually stood opposite to him, and Shade, being Shade, took the mickey.

Vince growled at Shade, "if I find out you hurt my little sister even once, I will kill you, Got It." he snarled the last part hoping to get his point across. He wanted his little sister safe and that is all that matters to him.

"And so I am supposing you've never fallen in love, as by your sick thoughts you'd think I'd harm her. Well, there is only one wolf I'd harm in this pack, Vince, and a certain fae is stopping me. So be on your way, Lead Hunter." he growled at him, baring his razor sharp canines at the male.
With that said, the wolf decided not to argue with his mates brother, and paced away slyly as if he was a shadow, or so said, a shade of one.
He paced back to his mate nudging into her neck softly, "I'd let him cool off if I was you. I may of just stirred him up a bit." he chuckled the last part, quite proud of himself.
