Shade clutched his jaws around the faes backer-neck, dragging her for there first few moments, before fully lifting her from the ground.
With that, he began sprinting straight back to the Refuge they were at, skidding to a halt seeing Donovan. He laid the fae down on the boarder between the open grassland and the forest, she still sleeping calmly.
He believed that if she did';t want to talk about it then he wouldn't force her to talk.

Iris mumbled somethings in her sleep as she curled herself into a ball. She was quite tired and didn't want to wake up. It had been a full 2 days with little to no sleep for her, so she needed it.

Shade glanced back at the fae and smiled warmly at her, before turning round to Donovan and giving him a friendly nod.
"You alright, Alpha Donovan?" he grinned, sitting aside him.

He smiled at the fighter, "I'm doing just fine." He muttered, happy that someone was talking to him. "I see you and Iris are getting along?"

Shade made a small sound as if he was going to reply, but had stopped himself. If the black pelt hadn't of covered his flesh, there would be a long pink line running across his muzzle, clearly blushing.
"N-no! Well maybe, but were just friends, just friends." he stuttered, his paws fidgeting side to side.
