Theodore's eyes snapped to the over-excited girl, being momentarily distracted from the going-ons of the world. "Oh, just the news," he said nonchalantly, glancing back at the screen to see if it was a story he particularly wanted to pay attention to. Seeing nothing of immediate interest, he focused all of his attention on the girl. "It's good to keep up with what's going on in the world. We're pretty isolated here, but if anything ever happened it's good to be in the know. Is there something else you would prefer to watch?"

The blonde looked over at the TV once the guy answered her question as she was a bit curious what it was like. She didn't really watch the news much, due to the fact of the sadness or boring stories they had. That wasn't helped by the fact she hardly watched TV because she rather be outside swimming in such beautiful weather. She shrugged not really knowing what she would pick. "Nothing I can think of," She replied turning her attention back to the guy.

Serpente had killed a buck and was excited to eat it herself, but then wondered if she'd be called greedy for eating a buck by herself and not bringing it to the others. She sighed, she wasn't too hungry anyway, a small meal would suffice. Serpente picked up the buck and began taking it back to the cabin. Her nature was to be a complete loner, driving off anyone who dared to bother her, but she lived at the cabin. She couldn't complain about the living situation, it was nice, but a social life wasn't her thing. Serpente sighed, "Oh well." She said to herself. She would probably be dead if she lived alone.

not a second past, and gwen replied, asking kyrin to slow down for him. jeez, i just did that. he thought crossly. he was regretting not going alone. jakub was a member of the tribe, yes, but he was also a solitary fellow. so packed into a car with the two others was starting to look gloomier and gloomier. surprisingly enough, however, he did take gwynneth's advice. tilting his head back, the male's brown orbs stared out the window, at the scenery passing by in a rush. the trees all melded into one, and he could scarcely count a shrub before the next cropped up. "tch," he grunted, reverting back to basic sounds in terms of conversing.

Serpente finally reached the cabin and set the large buck down. She couldn't remember if they preferred to eat raw or cooked meat. They were animals, so they probably wouldn't complain. Serpente took off her dress as to not mess it up and shifted. She slithered around the buck, examining it. Proud of her kill, she waited to see if anyone would come to check out what she brought.

He's paying attention to the dirt road when Jakob asks him to slow down on holes; snapping him back into reality. "I'm only going 5 over them and 10 in general," he says a bit confused at the request. Ky takes a quick look at Jakub and sees he is clearly unhappy. The eagle boy is digging his fingers into the seat of the car and intently staring out the window. "Really Jak, you don't look very good, are you sure you're okay?" The beta asks carefully, not wanting to pry or seem like he's nagging. He really is just concerned. When Jakub gets snappy with Qwynneth, he frowns but doesn't say anything because he realizes that even though Jak is normally difficult, he must be snappy right now because he isn't feeling too well.

The masked owl shifter saw that Jakob tried to relax, seeing that it might be working. She sat back in her seat and stared out of the window herself, seeing the rocks and trees and bushes streak passed in one giant green blur. But if she focused her eyes enough, the nature seemed to slow down so that she could see them with more detail. Even though this place had roads, which were really just smooth, compacted dirt roads, these mountains were secure and hidden from all else. No way anybody would find them up here. It was no sweat, so she shrugged it off and continued to stare calmly. She noticed the sunlight getting deeper, the weather warmer and knew it was starting to become the afternoon.

The leader listened carefully to the girls words as she spoke, making sure she got everything. When she was finshed speaking, she had a look of slight surprise but she also just nodded. "It will be fine, I'm sure. If she gives you more problems or you see anything suspicious- but this goes for everyone as well- you should come tell me. You're smart, you know." She stated, hoping she understood but still seeing the look up uneasiness on her face, like she got rubbed the wrong way. "She's not here now, but do you want to gather the others and go do something together?" She suggested, tilting her head a bit with a smile. It was only early afternoon, if not just starting so they had plenty of time.
