welcome to the aerial island of ten-jigoku (often shortened to tenji), a world where the citzens of the world below appear to go after their deaths. the island is made out of only one system and segment, a government called the allies. the allies says that everyone in ten-jigoku is safe from harm and violence, but human nature is still human nature. people argue and fight, it is never any different, even in the peaceful after-life of ten-jigoku. some are not peaceful in the heaven-like world. yet, in the world of ten-jigoku, the citzens have no true contact with the allies. the allies are only known through filtered messages on intercoms spread across the island who give cheerful messages such as "good morning!" and "good night!" to the members of the island. people have not been questioning. ten-jigoku is life after death, nothing is bad here. people have not been questioning. no one can get hurt. people have not been questioning. but now people are. there are rumors of the island starting to crumble due to an infected energy source, sections of the island falling to the land below. why it is 'infected' and what it is is unknown. what the allies are is unknown, still, and the usual messages have stopped. people are getting hurt now, people are dying in the life after death, a sickness is spreading. is this truly life after death, or is it a illusion? is it truly an illusion, or a trip to a alternate universe? people will not know unless they act, act to find the allies in one united force. will the allies be taken down, or are they all just a lie?
you are either a part of the group aiming to take down the allies, the insurrection, or you are nothing of the sorts. there is no pro-government in ten-jigoku. currently, there is only the insurrection, who wishes to shoot the allies down in the heart. little think they will succeed, the insurrection is a minority. yet, more and more are wishing to join the fight. yet, if you are in the insurrection, wishing people to join you is none of your concern. your only goal is to locate the allies. if you are not part of the insurrection, sometimes called the undecided, you live your life. but, life is dangerous. dangerous gangs are forming and a horrible sickness spread through the air is lurking. the land looks peaceful and sunny, but your only goal is to survive.
so, who are you?
the insurrection is a group with a leader, yet many say their leader is their own will as they are all very strong-minded. people from all backgrounds come to the insurrection to fight against the government. the insurrection have different titles for different people, chosen by the leader himself. the insurrection goes on frequent missions, often equipped with makeshift weapons as violence is not allowed by the allies in ten-jigoku. weapons are not supplied to the public as weapons are commonly known to result in violence, especially with the humankind. by making weapons, the insurrection is full-on disobeying the allies. it may seem this is the leading cause of death in the ranks of the insurrection. although it is in fact uncommon, people have been known to have died of mysterious ways. sometimes it can only be described as a way of payback from the allies, but this is unknown. the insurrection has no offical ranks, simply titles. the only 'real' rank is the leader, the near formidable higuchi taisho. some titles include; weapon-maker, map-expert, scout, meal specalist and so on.
the undecided are generally more peace-willed than the protesters in the insurrection, all from once-normal 'families' in ten-jigoku. families in ten-jigoku are small little groups of people who band together based on interest and preference, and eventually, live together in scattered houses. families are self-chosen. yet, families have started to turn against each other, almost like gangs. currently the main struggle of the undecided is to simply live a simple life, without any un-peaceful disruptions. yet, the gang-turned families are now much more prominent in the part of the ten-jigoku community that isn't in the isurrection. the gang families make it hard for the peaceful willed families to even make a life. the undecided's goal is to live. yet, a deadly sickness is spreading in a place formerly known to be harm-free. the air-borne island of ten-jigoku is crumbling, the land the undecided live on is shrinking, bit by bit every day. can the good families band together and survive? or will they all turn against each other and fight to their unavoidable demise?
it is possible to get kicked out of a family, whether by popular vote, force, or by the leader themselves. once this is done, the one expelled from the group either has to go to the soku group or find their way to the insurrection, where they may or may not be accepted in. groups use a strike system, at five strikes it is up to the main vote or the leader to keep them for another chance or kick them out.

The families
- hontoni ijiwaru ; plain mean. shortened to hoton most of the time, and known for causing most of the trouble most of the time. the main body is made up of thieves, bandits, criminals, outlaws, and more of the sorts. no real leader, runs on the will to cause havoc. causes trouble and problems for the other families often. in a fight with motto.
sumatona hitobito ; smart guys. shortened to suma or hito. known for its expansive body full of people with above average smarts and planning skills. known for being the most clean-cut and best at strategies. has a firm leader, deputy, and multiple hunters and gatherers, as well as fighters- just in case. the leader is the stern yet lighthearted misuta sumuzu. smart enough to avoid major fights. on good terms with other groups.
dubutsu-sha ; animal house. the residents are often the owners of animals, and train them to do different tasks. the name is shortened to dubu most of the time. sometimes considered a minor group among the others. the only group that pays them any mind is suma.
yoi noka ; good farmers. donned the name yoi, and known for growing their own food and sending it out to the other families as a good deed. currently controlled by honton, meaning honton controls the food intake around tenjin.
motto warui ; more bad. nicknamed motto or waru. known for being the most violent family, and the one who wants the most war. they openly challenge and threat the other families. in a tight fight with honton.
nani sokumenn ; no siders. shortened to soku. a group of sneaky members who often switch their families un noticed. considered very un loyal as they never stay in one group forever.
it is possible to get kicked out of a family, whether by popular vote, force, or by the leader themselves. once this is done, the one expelled from the group either has to go to the soku group or find their way to the insurrection, where they may or may not be accepted in. groups use a strike system, at five strikes it is up to the main vote or the leader to keep them for another chance or kick them out.
