Haven stopped and turned around. He blinked, pulling his ears back and shifting his face to look ominous, snarling ferociously at the new fox.

The fox looked up at the girl and then looked back at Haven. He growled. "Picking a fight?" He laughed. "You're going to get creamed, you know." He turned toward Savannah. He stepped forward once, keeping his eyes on Savannah.

Savnnah thought about shifting into her fox form. She jumped from the tree and stood beside Haven. She soon shifted into a red fox and stared down the other fox.

The fox growled. He was surprised the girl could transform. 'She's one, too, eh?' He thought and then began, "Tch. Calling someone to help? Come on, I'm not going to lose against you foxes." He looked toward the waters and quickly ran away and turned around to circle them.

Haven watched the fox very closely. He saw Savannah transfrom and he lifted his ears. Then, he crouched and focused on the strange fox.

"Forgot to mention, I'm Jason. You're supposed to reveal your name to your opponent, yes?" He asked, unaware that rule didn't apply in a real battle.

"Names? Yeah your not knowing that. What do you want from us?" Savannah growled and stepped a bit closer to the fox named Jason.

'You mean, she can talk, too!? Am I the only one who can't?' Haven watched Jason maneuver around the area.

Jason grinned. "Fine. I suppose I could say I wouldn't need it. I can kill you right here, anyway, rather than cursing you." Jason looked at Haven. "Cat caught you're tongue?" He slid through the area and into the mud by the water. He dived into the water.

'Isn't it 'cat got your tongue'?' Haven sighed and stepped over to the riverbank.

"Hop into the water, It's nice and cool. It really works wonders on fur, too." Jason grinned and tilted his head. He was being stupid. No one would be fooled by that, right?

"I'd rather not. What if you try to drown us what en. I refuse to die today." Savnnnah hissed as sat down a few feet from the riverbed.

"Your loss," Jason said and swam away. His head appeared out of the water far from the bank. He caught a large fish. It wriggled in his mouth as he pierced it with his sharp teeth. "You two want this? I'll bring it back for you!" He called.

Haven continued to watch the suspicious Jason who began to swim to shore. His eyes narrowed into ice blue arrows.

Savannah looked at Jason and said, "I don't you might have tampered with it." She snarled and then looked at Haven seeing his reaction.

"In that short amount of time? PLEASE. Here, I'll give it to him to cook it." Jason tossed the fish all the way across the lake onto the bank. He then began to swim to the shore. 'What am I doing? I don't have a need to fix food for these foxes. Maybe I'll friend them and then find a place to kill them... Oh, but maybe I shouldn't kill the girl. I think she's a student. The other kit couldn't talk, so he's likely a normal fox. If not, I have to leave the city and live off of the monsters outside so I don't get accused of murder. I'll live off the monsters... yeah... I'm strong enough to beat them, at least...' Jason reached land and shook the water from his pelt. He cocked his head in a friendly manner and amiably searched Haven's face.

Haven backed away. He watched the large fish wriggle desperately until it reached its death. He then pulled back his ears and picked it up in his jaws. Nothing tasted funny from what he could tell. It smelled like muddy water and fish. He shrugged and didn't notice that Jason was looking at him. He turned away and tossed the fish into a small ditch that was around the size of two bear paws. It wasn't very deep, either. Haven walked back toward Savannah.

Savannah stood up again and then asked, "So, what are you doing here and you never answered my question, what do you want with us?" she asked and felt her pelt bristle a bit in agitation and fear. She felt weird in this situation as if she were the bad guy.
