It was sort of the truth, he was being chased but he didn't need somewhere to stay. He once again brought his attention to the knife, "Sure, kill me. Kill an innocent person."

She looked at Drakie and shook her head, "Just go back inside." She said to him, it sounded more like a demand rather than a request. She turned to Alis and smiled, "Well, nice to see you. Brother wants to kill you, so have fun. She waved to him and skipped back to the house, "Hurry up squishy!"

Least he would make some money, but what was there to buy here. There was like no stores open here.

He felt bad for leaving her, but he couldn't let that happen again in case next time he didn't stop.

Brooke was snoring very loudly now from the position she was laying on the floor from. That her eyes blinked really quickly caused by the deep sleep she was in. So much for trying to hide under the blanket and not getting caught if the big bump under the cover didn't give it away the snoring would.
