"See? Merasmus didn't even need to show you how to do it.. You just did." he smiled and clapped softly
while Kamryn let out a squeal and wiggled his toes
"I can tell he likes you.." The wizard chuckled and nodded

She smiled softly and cooed at the little boy, "He quite likes you too."

Merasmus
"Well yes.. Considering I'm not his real parent.." he shrugged and nodded
"It would not bode well if he finds out he was taken.."

Chiyo
"Perhaps I could help with that. If you do something for me as well." She kissed Kamryn's baby nose, then looked back at him

Merasmus
He watched Kamryn smile and laugh, wiggling around happily
"Of course.. Anything." he nodded

"Let me help raise the boy... And help me escape the darkness." She asked of him

He thought a moment, everything silent save for the soft murmurs of the boy
"Fine.. Why would you want to escape the darkness though, my lady?" he asked and tilted his head while looking confused

Chiyo
"Because I've only ever known the darkness. But seeing this, makes me want to try and learn something new." She looked down at Kamryn again and smiled

He nodded and crossed his arms a bit
"Of course.. Merasmus understands.." he said
"Would that make you.. I'm guessing the 'adoptive' mother?"

She looked up and said jokingly, "But we aren't married." Then she looked down and said, "If you would allow me to be, then yea, I suppose I would be."
