He lifted her hand and began revealing the powers, along with he uses for it. Most of these powers were used to inflict pain at one time or another, then she came upon: "This one right here is one of the most fragile and unstable types of magic. There have been whole continents that have been wiped out at the use of this. This could destroy the world." Then she put her hand down and looked back up at him, "That's why I'm dark." She said to not only him, but to partly convince herself that she still was

He watched partly in awe, partly in interest
"Amazing.. Merasmus enjoyed all that.. Thank you." He nodded and gave a small smile
"You have a very nice set of powers, Miss Chiyo.. I'm somewhat jealous." Chuckling softly he shifted slightly on the bench

"And what of your powers? Surely there is one that I don't have. You are powerful, in fact we may be even if I don't use that last one I have." She tilted her head, her gray-blue eyes swimming with interest

Merasmus
He nodded and looked down at his hands
"Well.. Merasmus has trained in the magic of Eldrich Horror... I am a Wizard, and yet I still don't feel the affects of one." He said and wiggled his fingers a bit, they crackled with green electricity
"I can do most from simply Levetating, to bringing up the dead.. Most power is simple for me.. Except the part where I can't use any of it for my own wellbeing.." He sighed

She nodded and looked down, "Only the people with demons swimming in their veins can heal themselves. It's a curse most of us have to deal with."

Merasmus
"I know.. I've met a couple of them before.. Only.. It was a married couple. One was able to heal themselves and others like you said.." He explained and nodded. "And the other could heal anyone, and yet the wound would be given to the healer, leaving the patient healthy."

"Kiandra and Kirstian." She nodded in recognition, "They're dark folk. Kiandra is a warlock, her father was a demon." She then laughed softly seemingly at nothing

He nodded, then remembering the names before she laughed
"What's so funny?" He asked, frowning a bit and looking confused

"You're the great man who took their little boy away. I could feel something light taking him away, but now I see that it was you." She stopped laughing, "You did good, taking him away. The queen would have used them more brutally. And she still will with the other two."

"Of course.." He said and smiled a bit
"I only took him because.. Well.. Partly because I haven't had an apprentice before, and because three new Dark children in the world isn't fair to the light side." He explained
