maverick nodded, turning and pointing to a tree branch. "mind breaking that off for me?" she questioned as she stood on her tip toes, trying to reach it.

He reached up and broke off the branch, handing it to her. "Here you go." He said and smiled slightly.

maverick flashed a quick grin. "yeah, thanks." she spoke, holding the thick branch in her hand as she then jogged over to the cabin, ready to hit anything as she carefully twisted the nob and opened the door.

He followed and made his hands into fists. "Be careful." He said gently to her as he looked around.

maverick nodded as she carefully entered the cabin. "i'll take left, you get right." she stated, slowly making her way to a door on the left, quickly twisting it open.

He gave her a slight nod. Once the door was open he let out a growl and looked in, he made he way right and listened carefully. A rat scuttered across the floor. He huffed. "Rats."

maverick carefully explored the left side of the house. when she secured all of the rooms, she headed back to the middle, grunting as she saw a rat. she lightly kicked at it. "shoo." the girl stated simply at the small creature,

He came from the right after searching everything. HIs hair dusty. "Seems clear, anything your end?" He asked.

maverick nodded "yep. everything is good." the girl responded before tossing the branch into a corner and faceplanting onto one of the couches. "can we just..take a moment to enjoy laziness?" she muttered into the cousin, her voice muffled.
