Our modern day society was changed forever with the discovery of energy stones hidden deep within the core of an unexplored mountain. The need for mass produced clean energy was solved by these large energy stones, but along with these stones we were introduced to a new generation of humans who had some of the strangest mutations we've ever seen; fully functional wings and a society unlike anything we've seen before in a human-like species.
These stones seem to be precious to these things, but to humans they were lucky to obtain some of these precious stones without much trouble... Or at least for now.

*Rut: A few days of frustration
for a Alpha Seraphim
every few months.
Their instincts will be

**Heat: A week long period every
few months that a Omega's reproductive
cycle is at their peak. They will
seek out the comfort of their
Alpha Seraphim mate or
form calming groups with
other Omegas to lessen
their cycles.

These winged beings known as Seraphim are ruled by primal instincts
more commonly found in wild situations, giving them a "pack"(flock) dynamic.
Their social rankings are determined on their "other gender" otherwise known
as their "presentation." A Seraphim's presentation happens when they undergo
puberty, and during this time they will either present as Alpha, Beta, or Omega.
[Alphas] are generally tougher, more aggressive, and exhibit behaviors such as territorial-ism and *Rut. Alphas are the only Seraphim who can cause pregnancy
when paired with a same-sex partner though this partner must be Omega to carry a child.
[Betas] are a milder form of Alpha, however they do not experience bouts of
aggression, or go through Rut like Alphas do. They cannot carry children from same-sex Alphas, though female-male pairs can form bonds and have offspring together normally.
Betas are also known for having Tipping Genders where their second genders
can be influenced by their environment, mental state or even their bodily condition
and "tip" in favor of Alpha or Omega status. A beta is only considered to be effected by this phase until they are 27 years of age. After this age has passed they will most likely stay at their beta gender.
[Omegas] are a very desired presentation for The Seraphim race,
as this presentation, regardless of their sex, may bare children.
Generally omegas have a weak constitution and are very influenced by Alphas
as most Alphas treat them like rare prizes. Their lives are hard however, since
some ruthless Alphas may try to take possession of them forcefully especially
during their **Heats. Omegas usually stick together during this time to fight off handsy Alphas, and most of the time it helps.
If an Alpha is caught or accused of forcing an omega to be their mate they will be exiled without hope of re-acceptance.
Seraphim usually stick with one lover or spouse through out their life and in some cases form a bond so strong it's known as the Soulmate Connection. These connections are strong and are known to lengthen the lifetime of the Seraphim involved as well as allow them to share a psychic connection, sending messages to each other over great distances with only a single thought.
It is not impossible for a Seraphim to have more than one soulmate
and often times these soulmate connections are platonic ones rather than romantic ones. It is more probable that soulmates will occur between an Alpha and their Omega mate.

In our modern-day society, most people have accepted The Seraphim
into our world without much of an uproar. There is a small but ever expanding band
of humans who wish to monopolize The Seraphim and all they have to offer.
Many kidnap unsuspecting Seraphim and steal their feathers to sell to collectors
or others take them as underground slaves. It's a harshness Seraphim now
must live with because of The Human's jealousy for their flight. There are
a few seraphim-rights activists beginning to show up around the world, so it
mite be only a matter of time before Seraphim are given the same rights as humans.
To most humans, Seraphim's "second gender" is a disgusting factor. It doesn't
help that Humans do not have a second gender and as thus have no "smell."
It is said that if a Seraphim is in a close relationship with a human their smell
will become non-existent and they will grow ill.

- This roleplay will likely have more than just myself and one other person so be courteous and tell everyone if you want a change! Someone mite not want to roleplay in direction, and they have the right as a member of this RP to vote or influence the plot.
- Feel free to add more to the form - the more information provided on your character the better!
- Does this really need explaining? Don't be a jerk about this stuff, really. You're a horrible human being if you hate on someone's religion or sexuality; it has no influence on you what someone believes in or loves so cool it.
- Just don't make all your characters Seraphim. That gets old really quickly.
- This is plenty of time to reply. If you don't by then your characters will be "killed off" and be unable to return to the roleplay if you return again.
- I understand if you're in a slump but please at least shoot for that much for a reply or more! You can count how many words you've used here.
- At least three active members of the roleplay must approve time-skips before they can happen unless it deals with sexual acts. Then those "fade to black" moments can automatically be skipped.
