Kaoru stood up, taking a step back. He reached out, positioning his chair to its original place before the meeting had begun. "Hah, me? Work? You must be hallucinating, Kao!" Kaoru heard Rei say. Kaoru ignored him, deciding not to look up. His began to wonder whether he should head up and go straight to bed, or stay up filing papers of new residents. He sighed, running his hand throughout his charcoal black hair in frustration. But, his thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a specific comment. "Eh, maybe later. You should learn how to cook first! Haha, that rice you made was terrrrrible." This caught his attention. Not that he was very bothered by it, but there was still quite a few people in the room.
Kaoru froze, slowly lifting his head. His eyes narrowed on the male across the room. His glare was cold as ice, and he looked almost threatening. "What was that, Rei." He asked in a perfectly calm voice. But, an under tone of intimidation lingered on the words. But, before Kaoru was able to do anymore, he felt a presence approaching him from behind. He turned, to see a small blonde. Holding. - - - - Holding.
.......!
Kaoru's eyes widened, and he opened his mouth, but no words came out.
"Hey before you kill me"
Are you holding my swords.
"I brought lots of weapons for you to use"
They look just like my swords.
"And your swords which were specifally supposed to be locked away"
Hell...The Hell...
"But I got to them and I just want to be a member of the team"
Yep. They're my swords.
"because I helped you guys and I really hate Sekai"
GIVE ME MY SWORDS YOU IDIOT.
"And the Lilith for killing so many people and i'm a nice person, trust me-"
Kaoru took several steps forward, staring down at the weapons. Mostly in shock. He reached out, gently taking them. For minutes, several minutes, he simply stood staring. He was holding them. He could feel them. They were, his, again. Kaoru slowly lifted his head. Everything the boy had said earlier began to process. He nodded his head slightly. "You helped us escape. If it weren't for that, I would have you thrown out or killed. But..." Kaoru sighed, taking a step back and leaning against the table behind him. "You have my trust. So far. And, my gratitude." He paused, "I will offer the role Delta to you... Considering we don't have Riko anymore... A small bit of sadness rung in Kaoru's mind. He had trusted Riko so much, and yet. He shook his head. "If you fit it well, the role is yours. If not, you will be de-ranked." He patted the males head, before turning to leave the room.
-Time Skip-
Kaoru thrashed, back and forth, over and over again. Left and right, with perfect form. The weapons glowed, and a blue neon color emitted from the ends and sides. Wherever Kaoru thrashed, a streak of light was left there before slowly disapearing. Although, the energy in the swords was no normal type. Physical, chemical, it wasn't of Ethereal. The power was in Kaoru, being perfectly channeled throughout the weapons. One of a kind. The power in Kaoru was from another being, he was energy sourcing, from his angel. He came to a stop, breathing heavily. The feeling was like no other. After so many years of not using his swords, he felt more in sync with them then ever. He smiled, kneeling onto the ground. He looked up to the sky, shutting his eyes. He laughed, loudly.
The sword's color began to fade, showing the power originally running through them was gone. Kaoru sighed, looking down at his beautiful weapons. "I can finally fight. I'm not weak any longer." He muttered to himself. He ran his hands over the swords. He finally had them, and this he could barely believe. Sheathing his swords, on either side of him, he headed back into the building. Walking up the stairs to the dorm rooms. He arrived at his room, entering and closing the door behind him.
