"All I want to know, is why the hell weren't you able to lend me more power when I needed it!!" Sekai screamed, staring into the mist. No answer came for several moments, until finally a voice emerged from the fog. "That wasn't out deal. Now was it." Sekai let out a scream, before turning away. He was furious, and rage completely evident on his expression. What sounded like a young boys laughter began to echo throughout the realm. Sekai scoffed, "Whats so freakin funny." He muttered. "You. Humans take this all very seriously don't they? Ah, thats why its so much fun. Tampering with the human race is the best thing the demon realm has ever done."
"I'm not interested in the demon realms history. Just answer my question." The voice sighed, "Like I said, that wasn't our deal. I offered you my power. But, only a certain amount. And, the only way you can acquire more is when you re-charge. You can't just constantly keep using my power, over and over again."
"Why not."
The voice laughed, "Because. That wasn't. Our. Deal. Now, that human Yuu, Kaoru. He made a very interesting contract. He can draw energy constantly, as long as he asks for it. But then, the downside is, he can only use it if he has his swords, technically. But, I will say, that's a pretty good deal for him. Too bad you weren't contracted with an angel??? right???" The demon laughed. And, Sekai only frowned.
"Yeah. If I could, I would change it. Wouldn't have to deal with you anymore."
"Well well, you are stuck with my now aren't you? But, to figure out your problem...I suggest you start learning how to store more power when you re-charge. I think you have forgotten how powerful I am, and that you are using my magic. Demonic magic is extremely powerful. If you are smart, you can wipe out anyone. But it takes skill."
"Yeah yeah whatever. I'm done. See you." Sekai began to walk, waving his hand back and forth dismissively. The mist and fog began to fade away, and Sekai regained consciousness.
Sekai's eyes shot open. He lay still on his bed. He turned his head to see Shohei enter the room. He sighed, sitting up and rubbing his head. "That damn demon." He muttered. "Pisses me off." Sekai looked down at his leg, noticing it was completely healed. "That Rebellion group is dangerous." He reached out, grabbing the bowl of ramen. "Your fortress should be cleared and restored by sunrise."
Sekai nodded his head. "Good. Like I said earlier, tomorrow morning we leave." Sekai lifted his head, eyeing Sho. He never gave praise to anyone, even Shohei. Although, his servant was practically perfect. He felt like saying something, but quickly dismissed it. "Shohei, go find Riko. She is going to come with us..." He smirked, beginning to chuckle. "If she resists, you know what to do. Just make sure she is ready to leave when we are. If you have to bound her in shackles, I don't care."
Sekai smiled, his laughter beginning to get louder and louder. "Ah, nothing like a good bowl of ramen."
