Star glanced up as her delta approached and frowned. "I didn't know I was invited. Plus the alpha is mad at me at the moment." She said looking down as she pet a soft grey bunny pelt. "I uhh don't really go out much either. No one bothers to notice me so I don't even have to do to the hunts on the full moon." She admitted before looking up shocked. "U uhh mean not that I don't go." She said quickly. She growled to herself. She could be snappy to the alpha but when it comes to a delta being nice I trip over my words. Great..

Darion smiled softly his hazel eyes gentle "of course you are invited. The whole pack is always welcome at Fangtastic. That's part of the benefits of being the owner." He joked "I kind of noticed that our alpha is in one of his moods lately. He seems to be more vicious than normal or maybe its just me. And Star dont be surprised to see a male or two who notices you on the hunts." He fell silent for a moment his eyes thoughtful "Why dont we go out on a hunt just the two of us later tonight?" he suggested as he met her gaze before adding in a low voice that only the two of them could hear "an alpha doesnt need to be cruel to lead his pack.IF I were alpha things would change because I would not be so harsh, I would lead with gentleness but at the same time I would be fair and I would not lead with fear."

Star looked at him and smiled and genuine smile. "I'd love to go on a hunt. I usually go alone. How long has your bar been open for?" She asked curiously. Looking at the male and thinking to herself maybe he could have a friend or two in this pack. Its been awhile she's usually left on the outskirts because she always sees to much that most don't want her to see. "As for the alpha I think he's just himself. Not really into people but he's a good alpha.. One of the better ones that I've seen in my years." She admitted before going wide eyed at what he said. "Sometimes its easier to lead with fear. Gentle alphas usually have to prove themselves more." She said.

the young healer fidgeted with her Canon T6s camera, biting her lip as she attempted to fix the exposure settings. bumping into people as she walked the sidewalk of the city. she had no clients today, neither any other photography work. so she considered today as one of her more free days. a day to converse and take pictures of whatever. her slightly dull crimson hair blew in the breeze, as her chestnut brown eyes scanned upwards. it seems as if their alpha wasn't in a good mood, and along with it the hunter girl had proposed a challenge. for the rank of beta. how foolish, jess thought. the rank was nothing but a rank. she never understood hierarchy, especially the werewolf one. all the history books she'd spend reading about the medieval era shed some light, but it didn't really help. with haste, she lifted the camera to her delicate face and snapped a picture of Canon. lowering the camera and checking out the picture, she laughed gently. "the light captures your angry expression very well." jess said in a sing song voice. it was gentle and sweet, and it hardly ever rose. she rose her ear to check her hearing aide, to make sure it was on. her hearing hadn't gone just yet, but it was on it's way of escaping her forever. unlike most, the female wasn't scared of him. having grown up in the pack, she's found that he wasn't so scary.

Darion smiled softly his eyes still soft "I've had the place up and running since Jessica and I moved here over two years ago. I found the place within a week of us moving up here and after I bought I spent about six months remodeling and getting the place up to code." He said as he cocked his head off to one side then added softly once again in that low tone so that only they could hear "I was the alpha of my family pack back in Louisiana and I let the pack with gentleness and without fear. My aunts and uncles and even my dad can tell you I was fair and allowed one of my cousins a blind wolf to hunt with us even though my eldest aunt was not fond of the idea. My cousin was able to hunt better than my aunt." he chuckled at that memory before adding a little louder "Why dont we meet at the edge of the clearing beyond the compound say 8:00 and we'll go for a hunt before I have to be at the club at nine. Jessica can handle tending bar till I get there."

Nyx looked at Jess timidly. "Oh, are you.. Are you sure? I've never really gone out before... Let alone a nightclub." She stammered. Anne turned to Jessica. "We'll be there." She replied with a grin. "As long as Nathan will be." She winked at Nathan and turned back to Jessica. "I think I'll need your help with Nyx here though. She won't wanna go and she could use a hot makeover."

Canon was still on edge. Tonight after the pack went out together to Fangtastic, what a stupid name, he would lead them through the forest and then they would hunt alone for a while. He was never this worried about it. He didn't know what was different about tonight but something would change.

jess furrowed her eyebrows as she watched the alpha. he seemed dismayed. with hesitation, she placed the camera strap around her shoulder and headed into the farmer's market. where everyone seemed to be at the current moment. she glanced around at her few pack members gathered, before walking up to a random booth. closing her eyes, she listened to the rumbles of people and conversations. it wasn't eavesdropping. she swore. pursing her lips together, she opened her eyes, lifted her camera and snapped a few photos. to her knowledge, the entire pack was going to that nightclub. the thought just scares her. she wasn't a night club type of gal. jess saw herself more of a house party girl. besides, she can already see herself in the corner just snapping pictures at Fangtastic. or perhaps just drinking a non-alcoholic beverage. either way she'll be a wallflower.

Jessica laughed "Thats not a big problem. I think I have some clothes that will fit Nyx at my apartment. You know where I live." she said with a wink at Anne. She paused for a moment and ran a hand lightly over her head knowing that Darion was nearby. The signal was a sign to her brother to keep his thoughts guarded because of Canon.

Darion had caught his sister's signal and gave a slight incline of his head in her direction. The two had come up with signals and signs to communicate with each other that only they would understand. He turned his attention back to Star. He studied her with soft gentle eyes. A gaze that held the warmth of a friend but yet also held the authority of a higher ranked wolf almost that of an alpha.

"I was an alpha of a few packs, though I left after a couple years and let the younger wolves take over for me." She sighed remember the times of her old packs. "To long in to many places can get you killed." The blonde looked at him with her odd bi colored eyes. "How long were you an alpha in your old pack for?" She asked curiously. She knew blind wolves could hunt but she had a few that just wanted to fight endnote think therefore died from falling into hunter traps. "Alright 8? Sounds good i'll see you then." She smiled at him finally having something to do.

With Jessica's last comment, the girls departed, going back to work their booths. It was now the busy time of day. "We'll be over at say, 7?" Anne asked Jess as she went to her booth.
