Amai flinched when her alarm clock started up and squawking at her, letting her know that she was supposed to be at work in an hour. She flailed her hand around until it hit the clock. Off the stand. She groaned, but at least it shut up.Besides, it shouldn't be able to break that easily right? She rolled out of bed, miscalculating how much space there was in the bed and joining her alarm clock on the floor. "Karma." She mumbled into the floor before standing and starting the day. Amai opened the closet and found her eyes drawn to her dress. It was the fanciest, most expensive thing in the closet. It stook out easily. But that wasn't what she was going to wear to work, not in a million years. Although she would love to relive last night.. She shook her head and put on a simple brown top with a loose pair of pants. Without a second thought she grabbed the cookbook and freshened up in the bathroom before heading to work. Once she got to the bakery, Amai had to double take to notice the little girl sleeping on a bench outside. She recognized her from before. "Hello?" She gently shook the girl to try and wake her up.
Kari yawned and stretched out in her box. That had been a good night. She padded out of it and the alleyway, going onto the main road of the village. As usual she clung to the sides where passersby wouldn't mind her. Her stomach growled, and finding some breakfast became her first priority. Maybe Amai was back! She head in the direction of the bakery, hoping to see her human friend again.
Furin trudged through what seemed like an endless village. He didn't recognize it, not a single building looked familiar. Some buildings even seemed to repeat. The odd thing was, it was deserted. Finally he could see someone up ahead. Akemi. He smiled and broke into a run. "Akemi! You have no idea how glad I am to see you-" He was cut ahort as the princess was struck with an arrow. She fell with a thud. Furin was at a loss for words, tears poking from his eyes and threatening to spill into a waterfall. Before they could, a blade swung towards him and found its way straight through his head. He collapsed, somehow still alive but dying slowly and painfully. All around him more familiar faces fell due to the unknown assasin. Blood spilled from his head and eventually clogged his vision. It fell down to his nose and mouth, threatening to drown him. From somewhere nearby, there was laughter. It was familiar.. It sounded like K- With a gasp Furin shot up from the couch, sputtering and coughing out water. Had his bag of ice, well now water, spilled? He picked up the warm bag and sighed. Nope. Which meant it had been a certain someone in the house trying to wake him up. "I'm up!" He called out. But nobody was in the house anymore. "Of course they left without me.." He grumbled, grabbing a biscuit and eating it on his way out of the house and onto the road to meet with Atsoku and Akemi. Something sweet to try and push away that dream..
Lyashi didn't want to wake up, he really wasn't ready. But remembering everything from last night he knew he had work to do. With a sigh he slid out of bed and got dressed in a plain white shirt with some jeans and a black coat. He wasn't exactly picky about his attire at the moment. He went downstairs and glanced at Kisu before going into the ward. Jackie and Keijj were still asleep, Katashi and Aumi were awake and talking. "Good morning you two." He smiled a little seeing Katashi up after that rough head injury and went beside his cot first. "How do you feel? Something a bit, 'descriptive' would be preferred, or you could just tell me where it hurts. If it hurts. Which I know it does, so don't try hiding it from me."
Kona's instincts woke her up at the strike of dawn, but the bed pulled her back into sleep for a few hours longer. When she finally did wake up and plan to stay that way, she didn't move an inch. The cushion, the pillow, the blankets.. She doubted she'd sleep in another place like this for a good while. Might as well enjoy it.
Paton opened his jaws wide and shook himself awake. He moved carefully as to not wake Weiss and trot beside Katashi's cot as the medic came. He propped himself up with the mattress and licked Katashi's hand, barking a hello and goodmorning. Then he went back down and walked to go by Aumi's cot. He did the same to her, propping up on his hind legs using the bed for stability and giving her an affectionate greeting as well as barking to Nyx. "Good morning!"
Limen flicked an ear, hearing Aki's movements, and poked her head above Kona to watch the human move. Once she heard the sound of a closing door downstairs she could conclude that the human had left. That was alright, she'd be back. This was her building after all! She settled in against Kona again as she began to stir. Kona peered over at her and smiled, reaching out an arm to scratch her below the chin. "Good morning, Limen. Looks like we're the early birds huh?" Limen tilted her head, knowing that Aki had gotten up first and that they were in no way birds, but accepted the gentle scratching and rubbed against Kona's palm.
