She scowled at him. Then followed his gaze to another figure. It was Nabiya!! She opened her mouth to call out but then relized it would give away who he was and decided not to. She turned her gaze back to the bandit and watched him put his hand on the hilt of his sword. Rolling her eyes, she spoke to him. Who are you? And I wasn't scrambling I was just..surprised. Aren't you ever surprised? She scowled again and got up slowly, her knees feeling ok but they were still bleeding.
She walked towards him and stopped about 2 feet apart from him. I have some questions I'd like to ask you actually... I'm uh, Aumi. She had been staring at the ground, first glancing behind her at Nabiya, then meeting the bandit's eyes. She stood up straight then spoke to Nabiya. I don't think he's going to do anything, sometimes people do that just for an effect. You gave him one. She smiled a bit, still staring right into his eyes, waiting for him to decline or accept her wanting to ask him questions.
She stepped closer to him, leaning over and whispering in his ear so that Nabiya wouldn't hear. She wanted to keep at least one friend.
I want to help you. I know you're a bandit and I've been thinking about this lately. I'm a knight and could help you out greatly! I could be a spy for you and do my work as normal at the castle. A knight can pretty much let anyone in and out. Please, I want to join you and I really want to help. Being a knight is boring. If you want to consider, theres a giant hollow tree on the border that we could meet in. She pulled back from his ear and stood back a bit, glaring at him so Nabiya wouldn't be suspicious. She narrowed her eyes and flipped her dagger out of her belt and pressed it against his chest for show.
Now go!! Aumi looked him straight in the eyes to show she actually didn't mean it then whipped around and trotted to Nabiya.
I'll see you later maybe? But I've got to go now! Really, I do want to chat with you. She added (really +) because she didn't want to be anymore rude as she was. Then she left and walked around the market for a bit, thinking about her what did numbly. She couldn't believe she just did that... and then just LEFT. What if he didn't come to meet her? How could she be so stupid? What if she never saw him again!
