Jess skipped around the beach happily. She started to do cartwheels the sand spraying up behind her. She landed neatly on her feet and looked around happily.

Tyler just stood holding her and kissing her. He looked around and signaled someone. They pulled a lever and balloons and streamers and stuff came from the ceiling. He heard people cheer and he blushed thinking if her.

"Tyler? Wow. You outdid yourself. This is amazing." She look around at the balloons. "This is. Just. Wow. I love it." She hugged him, looking at the decorations.

He was out on a walk when he spotted a sign that said "Beach" and he smiled, changing his course toward the shore
But when he trotted around the corner to see all the sand and minimal people, the one who stood out to him was Jess
He stopped near the fence and watched her, grinning a bit while reaching up with one hand to pull his glasses down his nose to see her a bit clearer, peering over the rims

Merasmus the Magician
When he woke, the light from his office windows were beaming down on his face
Which made him blink and sit upright suddenly, rubbing sleep from his old eyes
Then when he had gotten his bearings, the man stood from his great desk, scooted the chair out, and stepped out of the desk just to push the chair back into the desk.
He muttered things to himself while he looked down at the ground and walked across his room, heading for the door
Apparently, he had fallen asleep without a reason.. Which made him a bit concerned
He wasn't tired, not even old age would do that to him
"Merasmus is not THAT old.." He muttered to himself while grabbing the door handle and turning it to greet the even brighter outside, which made him frown and cringe
After a while, the great man was walking down the hallway trying to find someone to talk to or something to do
His students passed him with respect, greeting him with smiles and waves as they passed
He only nodded and answered with a simple "Hello," towards them, knowing he wasn't awake enough to fully acknowledge them
But his little walk turned to a travel as he made his way outside, (bending down low enough to actually fit through the small 7 foot front door for the humans) and looked around, closing his eyes and breathing in the fresh air deeply
The calm environment made him smile a bit, and his muscles loosened a bit
