She nodded in agreement. "Up...playing..."She said sleepily, rubbing her eyes. As usual, she stayed up late playing with the animals she kept in her room when it wasn't safe. The night before she had stayed up playing Hunter with the Panther kittens and birds.

Chase over heard their conversation. "I stay up late too, but if I sleep to e late or worry about something, I shift during the night. By the way: If you're having a dream about eating a giant marshmallow, wake up. It's probably not a marshmallow. They still haven't replaced my pillow..."

Astrid nodded as the girl spoke, and watched her strike up another conversation with a different girl. She sighed and stared at her bag a moment before taking out a pencil and a small not book with plain white paper. She began to sketch little characters on the paper to pass the time. She hoped the teacher would come soon, so she could go to the library, or maybe see Murphy again for he was one of the dew friends she had at the moment.

She looked up at the other girl. "Oh, hi," she said. "I'm fine. A bit nervous." There was an awkward pause before she said quickly, "uh and how are you? Sorry I didn't ask that sooner..."

Aurora, finally sick of waiting, went to the front of the class, told them a few basic things about Shapeshifting that were little known, then wrote "study period" on the whiteboard in a lovely red marker she'd found. Some of the students actually started studying, while other just stared at her. She gestured for them to get going. "Go on." She said simply.

Chase shrugged, happy to have something to do for once. Taking out the textbook, he opened it to page one ("Introduction to Shapeshifting- The Basics") and stared reading. Smiling faintly and mouthing thank you to Aurora.

Pomer smiled at Thea and reassured her," It's fine. I'm doing good, a little nervous about class, but good." Pomer shifted in her seat and took a deep breath as she studied the room around her.

Aurora blushed a little when she saw Chase mouth thank you. She hurried back to her seat, looking down at the ground, her face beet red.
