Pomer twisted the cold, metal doorknob and stepped into her new home. Her left hand shoved the door open as her right hand rolled her navy blue suit case behind her. She was one of the few students to arrive a little too early at the dorm, but she was eager to begin her new school year with a fresh start. She left her door open as an encouragement for incoming students to introduce themselves.
