Florian liked the woods. The trees stood in the way of the orphanage, covering the painful truth. It was beautiful and there were a lot of things to do. Like playing in the leaves! He had permission from Eve to play here, as long as he didn't go too far. He was kicking around leaves when he saw someone.
"H-hello?" He called out.

[~ moth ~]

Collin jolted back when he heard someone say hello. He trembled as he looked around seeing Florian looking at him. He stared back fear stricken. He didn't know what to do. 'Is he going to hurt me or kill me or what.' He thought backing up into the tree that was behind him.

Florian immediately took a step black the moment Colling backed up to a tree. Did he scare him? He must have.
"I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." He said in a small voice.

Collin looked up at florian. He trembled as he looked at him. He tried to speak but nothing came out but a small squeak. The shadows around him started to shake with his fear. He stared at Florian.

Florian felt himself shrink. He did not know what to do. He wanted to help, but how? He decided to raise the temperature a little to make himself a little more comfortable.
"I-I'm Florian. I live in the orphanage. What about you?"

Collin didn't know what orphanage meant or was. He looked at florian. "O-orphanage? W-w-what's orphanage?" He was scared. 'Is orphanage going to kill me what is orphanage will florin kill me oh gosh I'm scared.' He thought.

Florian cringed. While the orphanage really wasn't bad and didn't came even close to killing someone, the reason why he was there wasn't pretty. "An orphanage...is a place where you go if you don't have a mommy or daddy. People there will take care of you."
He stepped forward.
"It won't even hurt you."

He stared at him. "Mommy? Daddy?" He didn't understand those words. He had really bad amnesia and didn't understand anything and couldn't remember anything. He tired to step back when he stepped close to him but he was still up against the tree. "P-people?" He was confused and scared.

Florian couldn't understand this. Why would anyone not know what a mommy or daddy is?
"A mommy is a woman who cares a lot for you and watches over you. A daddy does that too. Well, they're supposed to do that..."
He bitterly thought about his own family. They didn't care about them. They only cared about his powers. And he could know, because Eve ranted often about them. How she was now supposed to take care of the both of them. How terrible they were.
He shook those negative thought away and smiled.
"And people are what you and I am. Don't worry, most are very friendly. Like me!"
