lexi laughed and said "markus is not really my brother, but you can say so i guess. his parents adopted me when i was nine after my parents were killed in a car crash. so i guess we are siblings by papers." she said with a confused look on her face. she was confusing herself. she then shook her head and said "markus is terrified of flying. so when i woke him up when we were landing, i kinda shouldn't have. oh well." she giggled and looked at the girl and said "i'm alexis amsterdam, but you can call me lexi." she smiled and looked at the girl with soft eyes.

markus swam over to the two and yawned lightly. he then laid on his back once more and looked at coraline and then to lexi. "hi, i'm markus, you can call me alex though. my middle name is alexander, it's easier to remember and everyone i know calls me that anyways. nice to meet you. guessing you are on vacation as well?" he said with a calm demeanor to himself. he then turned to look at the sky as he waited for an answer, he sometimes was impatient for answers, but this girl was really pretty.

She smiled at them both before replying. "I'm Coraline Rose Lewis. Most people either call me Cora or Rosie. It's nice to meet you both." She then looked over at the ocean that she could just barely see and noticed the large waves. "It's nice here but it's not much of a vacation. I've lived in California and it's sorta like this place. Huge waves to surf on.." she said with a warm smile.

Astrid jumped excitedly as they made it to the hotel, constantly thanking her brother along the way. She set her stuff down and smiled. "Dylan I cant thank you enough! This made me so happy! I think I'm gonna head to the pool." She smiled at her older brother and hugged him before digging through her suitcase for a bathing suit and then slipping it on. She grabbed a baggy shirt and a towel from the hotel. She walked down to the pool and pranced happily towards a chair. She placed her towel down and threw her brightly colored hair up into a ponytail. She slipped off her flip flops and stepped into the cool water. This place was like a dream land, and she could barely surpress her happiness.

Dylan snickered at his sister as she jumped around, ignoring the weird looks she was getting. He carried her suitcase up as well as his. He set hers down on her bed and smiled. "Alright birthday girl." He said and waved as she left. The brunette let out a loud yawn and began to unpack his suitcase placing things neatly in each drawer. He flopped back on his bed and stretched his arms to the ceiling yawning once more. "Ughhh" He sighed and sat back up, opening the blinds in their room and looking outside. The view was magnificent. A small smile formed on his face and he walked out of the room and down to the beach to enjoy the sunshine of the wonderful place.

she has been to the hospital and released within a few hours. she was told not to surf for a few days, but the girl didn't care. she looked at holokai and smiled softly at him. she was on crutches and followed him to the hotel that he was having an interview at. she was having once as well as the surfing instructor at the beach. though she was already a lifeguard, she wanted to help the hotel out as well. she looked at her cousin and smiled softly. "this is no laughing matter lani. you are hurt and i do not think the hotel will like that. if we are hired, we have to start today. and you are still in your bathing suit anyways." holokai said to her. lani giggled and said "cause it is my uniform. the hotel called me yesterday and well, i was hired already. i didn't need a interview. they said i was already qualified to be a surfing instructor. they know the meaning of surfing can get you attacked by sharks. but i don't start until next week. but then i will be fine cousin." she then looked up as they got to the hotel and the manager greeted them. "lani. oh dear, shark get you?" he asked and the girl nodded. "mind if i go to the pool?" she asked softly. the manager nodded and she headed for the pool. the girl smiled and walked, no crutched into the pool area. little did she know the area was all slippery and wet. she moved past a boy who looked like he was headed towards the beach. she gasped as one of her crutches slipped out from underneath her arm. she fell forward and hit the ground with a loud slapping sound of her skin on the rock ground. "youch!" she called out in pain. her leg was not throbbing and her skin on her stomach was stinging.

as soon as the interview was over, the manager told kai that he would start when he cousin did. he nodded and then the manager said "you have free reign over all the facilities now before you start though. have fun holokai." kai smiled and nodded as she headed for the pool. he was already wearing his swim trucks. he looked around and seen his cousin. though he didn't see her fall. he headed for the pool and looked around. he then smiled softly and gave a small yawn. native to haiwii, he was happy he lived here, but the hurricanes sometimes were horrible. he walked over and sat down at the deep end of the pool. his feet and legs in the water. he took off his white tank top and yawned softly. he wore grey swim trunks and his native necklace with a shark tooth on it. kai and healani had matching ones because of their parents. cousins or not, they had always been together since birth. he land backwards on the warm rocks and closed his eyes as his legs soaked in the water.

"well it is very nice to meet you too! i am originally from tulsa oklahoma, but i live in london with markus and his family right now. our parents were really good friends. anyways, you know how to surf?! that's awesome, i have always wanted to learn." she said with a small glistening in her eyes. she then looked at markus and gave a mischievous smile. she silently swam over to him and pushed him under the water and moved back over to coraline. she giggled and then got quiet when markus surfaced. "anyways cara, what is cali like?" she asked softly as she was interested in the state. she had always been that way when she lived in oklahoma, the land of the tornadoes.

alex looked at his sister and grit his teeth. "alexis jane do not do that!" he snapped. "what i thought it was funny alex." she giggled and then got up on the edge of the pool. ready to run if he went for her, alex yawned softly and then said "you are not worth the fight anyways." he then turned around and seen his mother and father standing there. "markus alexander beaumont do not yell at alexis like that. it was all fun and you know it. now behave. your father and i are going to the beach to have a romantic date. be ready for dinner understand. and alexis, you can invite your new friend and her family if they want to come. now behave you both." his mother said as she looked at him and then smiled at alexis. she blew kisses to her and followed her husband to the beach for now.

She chuckled when he was dunked under the water. "It's pretty nice there. Expensive though and hot." she said with a sigh before an idea popped into her head. "Y'know.. I have a few extra surf boards.. I could teach you both."

lexi smiled softly and looked at coraline and giggled. "so do you want to have dinner with our family?" she asked softly and looked at the girl. leaning forward on her legs, she smiled lightly. looking at her brother and then got into the pool once more. her skin was already starting to turn red. she yawned lightly and rubbed her skin. she was pasty white and her skin burn easily. "and that sound like fun! i would most definitely love to learn how to surf!" she giggled softly and hugged coraline with an excited look on her face.

markus shook his head and said "no i am alright. i have tried surfing and it is not my thing. sorry, but you can teach lexi. but i will go to the beach with you two." he then sat up against the wall of the pool and smiled softly. he looked at the girl with soft eyes and said "cara, i don't mean to sound odd by saying this, but have you ever been asked to be a model? your very beautiful and have a great personality. you can work with lexi if you want." alexis gasped and then punched markus in the stomach. "you jacka** shut up!"

Her cheeks turned a dark shade of pink and she tried tried to hide her blush but found it hard. "I have.. but I take no interest in it. I'm not much to care for looks and I don't like to show off.. in that category at least. But thank you." she replied with a smile. "Dinner sounds lovely.. since my mother and father are always busy on dinner dates..."

lexi smiled and said "awesome! maybe i will find me a cute haiwiian around here somewhere." she then bit her lip as she thought about herself meeting a cutie that was native to haiwii. she blushed brightly and looked away for a second. "anyways, i'd actually like to become friends cora. that is if you want too. i hardly have any, most of them are models and jerks at that." she spoke lightly and then looked at her brother he rubbed his stomach. it was turning red and he glared at her. "that's what you get you jerk." lexi said as she stuck her tongue out at him.

alex looked at them and sighed lightly. "sorry coraline." he said with his thick british accent. he walked over to the stairs and said "you girls want something to drink?" alex rubbed his stomach where alexis had punched him. he turned back to look at them and listened to alexis as she said "yeah i want a margarita." alex laughed and looked at her and then over to coraline.

"I don't want anything but thank you." she replied politely. She then looked back at Alexis when she mentioned love. "Love.. hmm... I was always too busy to even about getting a boyfriend.. so I've never had one.. although I have been asked out numerous times..." She heaved herself out of the pool and stretched out her arms. "I'd love to be both of your friends. By the way.. would you two like to go to the beach? This place is a bit too crowded.. or actually.. too calm."

"sure! and awesome, let's go after markus and tell him them. maybe i can walk down the beach while you talk to my brother. he seems to be interested a little bit. he has never talked to a girl before. the only one he did was a model friend of mine that got cancer and passed away. so you are the first girl he's really talked too." she said as she giggled softly and got up and popped her back as she bent backwards for a second. she then looked at coraline and smiled softly.

alex nodded and went to get his sister a drink. he wanted a beer as well. he got the drinks and yawned softly. taking a swig from his beer. he smiled lightly and then took his sister her drink. he looked up as the girls headed towards him. he held out the drink and then a bottle of water for coraline. "i got you some water even though you said you didn't want anything." he said with a small smile and held out the water. he looked at alexis as she was drinking her margarita.
