"How DARE you..." he hissed and came forwards towards him "Do you even realize what you CAUSED?? Now that Carbius and Aiden aren't there to die, they aren't there to cause everything up until the point of their death.. and because of them dying.. Aspen came to me and I fell for her.. my wife never had my son because of the death, which means.. Life will never exist!" he cried out as his eyes widened when he realized what he said and looked over to Life who was already on the floor passed out, disappearing quickly.
Gaia was part of the death of the father and son, not only Gaia, but pregnant Gaia with Life
And since Carbius and Aidan weren't shot, Gaia was who was there by accident to help them
She saw them through a window and tried helping them in the first place, but whoever was there to kill them killed her instead to get rid of any bystanders
