Max
It didn't take long for Max to make up his mind. As he watched the girl that caught his interest be swallowed up by the crowd, he propelled himself off the wall and walked in the general direction she had ran through. Sure, she probably wanted to be alone, but since when did he care about how anyone else felt? Yet as the mass thinned out, he was left with a lingering sense of disappointment when he realized he had let her stray too far from his sights and that he had lost her.
Dang, it would've at least been nice to get her name... He thought to himself with a grimace as he shoved his hands into his pockets and laid his ears flat against his head due to his irritation. There was no way to find her now though, unless... His masked violet eyes narrowed as he slyly looked from side to side, checking for any humans that may be lingering nearby.
This is so arrogant of me... Why am I risking everything just to meet up with a girl who means nothing to me? He wondered, though his current actions were greatly contridicting his thoughts. As soon as he thought the coast was clear, a tiny blue flame sprouted from the palm of his hand. Leaning down, he mumbled a simple order to his foxfire; "Find her." Immediately it leapt into action, following his directions as if it were a living being rather than a ball of heat. It zoomed forward, lighting the path that would lead him to his desired destination. And soon enough it was circling the girl he was looking for, who was sitting on the ground in a completely deserted area. Her hair seemed to have returned to its original snowy color, but now there were two ears resting on top of her head along with large wings spread out beside her. He stopped for a moment, pausing to catch his breath, then nodded to his fox fire, which proceed to fizzle out into a thin line of smoke. Then he approached her cautiously.
