Jace was about to take a sip of the warm coffee, when a girl tripped and fell flat onto the ground. He immediately put his coffee down onto the bench, before panicking a bit. Unsure of what to do, the mute nervously made a couple of hand gestures. If the mute were to speak, he'd probably be mummbling "Uh..erm..wait, uh" in a state of confusion. When he collected himself after a few seconds, he took the napkins that came with the coffee before offering the girl a helping hand

Max

Max stuffed his hands into the pockets of his hoodie, shoulders hunched slightly against the chill of the air. He had left the apartment he shared with his idiotic roommate for a few minutes for the sole purpose of clearing his head, but now that he was out traveling down streets that were practically overflowing with humans, he couldn't help but wonder what he had been thinking.

It wasn't that he was nervous about being caught; his worries about that had been dispelled along time ago. Humans were so oblivious to secrets set out right before their eyes, which is why he wasn't concerned when he felt his ears twitching from beneath his beanie. He knew that everyone around him would be too preoccupied to notice the oddity. His eyes rolled at the thought. Being in the presence of such weak and ignorant beings annoyed him. He took the first opportunity he had to slip through the crowd until he was walking down the path of a less busy street.

Stella pushed herself off the ground wiping the blood from her nose. "Darn ice." She mumbled. A shaken hand appeared in front of her. She stood up ignoring the head. "Uh sorry about that." She said. Blood dripped from her nose onto her coat. She wiped it away again.

In response to the girl, Jace simply nodded his head, as if to say "No problem". Seeing how the girl didn't need help after all, he retreated his hand, but still held out the napkin with his eyes tracing her bloody nose. Maybe if he wasn't as awkward as he was, maybe he could've actually helped her. Then again, he was a falling star. Rather than naively reaching out to a stranger, he should've just ignored her. That was what he should've done, but not once did that cross his mind. Jace was too busy worrying about the stranger and figuring out what he should do to help.

Stella grabbed the napkins and managed to say thanks. She felt her nose knowing it was broken. She took her hands and popped it into place again and stuffing the napkins up her nose. "Uh sorry about that." She said awkwardly. Just then her shadow spoke to her. "Don't you see you blubbering idiot he's a fallen star. Kill him kill him now. Stella thought back at hit. 'Nit now you annoying twit there are to many people around plus you may follow me around but somehow I am able to not listen to you." She looked at the guy. "I'm, uh, Stella."

Jace nodded again, but he was more concerned about her broken nose. In a fit of shock, he reached into his pockets to take out his - phone. His phone. Immediately reaching to his other pockets, he reached a somewhat depressing conclusion. He left his phone at the cafe. Glancing back down at the Stella - the girl, he attempted to convey that he would be back soon, with a couple of uncomprehensible hand gestures.

He then rushed to the cafe, jogging a bit along the familiar lonely road, before clashing into another stranger. Someone with white hair. He paused for a bit before thinking, "Sorry", and quickly bowing down as an apologetic guise. It was odd, but reassuring when for once, he wasn't looking down at somebody. Quickly looking the other way again and promptly heading to the cafe, he refocused on looking for his phone.

Stella watched as the guy ran off looking for his phone. Stella stands there not knowing what to do. She had popped her nose back into place and stopped the bleeding by stuffing a bunch of tissues up her nose. She looked around a shrugged she sat on the bench the boy had put his coffe on and pulled out a book to read.

Max

The young male was just getting ready to step into an empty book store, planning on walking through the aisles with false interest just for an excuse to warm his hands. But he was stopped by a man crashing into him from the pace of a steady jog. Though the jogger wasn't too heavy, the action was enough to catch him off guard and cause him to stumble forward with a surprised oomph! He regained his balance just before he would've gotten himself a mouth full of dirt, and managed to grab a hold of his beanie before it slipped off to reveal his ears. With blazing eyes he whipped around to face the person who had the audacity to run into a being as superior as him when he was in such a sour mood, preparing to give him a piece of his mind.

Yet, he found himself swallowing his words when he found the guy bowing down apologetically. Eyebrows furrowing slightly, Max blinked a couple of times in confusion before morphing his features back into a blank mask. "Watch where you're going next time," he snapped, more to himself than anyone as he turned on his heel to leave.

Stella stayed where she was not wanting to leave making the guy panic more about where she was but she thought that would be funny. She watched him run into a guy and saw him bow down apologetically. "Huh that's weird. Why bow down instead of say sorry." Stella watched the guy yell at the boy who was trying to help her. He kept walking and she knew he wasn't human he was a burned out star. Stella got up and walked his way nonchalantly to the bookstore her nose still dripping with blood left a trail. But instead her dog came crashing into her then skidded on the ice into the guy. Chaos looked up and walked back to Stella. "Sorry." She said hotly to him. "He can be an idiot sometimes." She said at chaos sternly. She put a leash on him and looked at the bookstore she was heading too.

The blonde had left after hearing the stranger respond. Though he hadn't expressed it verbally, Jace made a mental note to be careful.

After Jace scolded himself for pushing rather than pulling the glass door, he entered the modest, but welcoming cafe he had visited earlier. He made his way to the counter, careful not to bump into anyone this time. He looked up at the employee. Thankfully, she was the one to initiate the conversation.

"Did you leave anything behind?" The employee asked, remembering Jace as a consumer, to which the latter responded with a nod. "What did you leave behind?....A phone? Oh, it's by that table" the employee continued, somehow able to understand him through a very nervous game of sharades. Relieved by this information, the blonde tucked his head into his scarf and retrieved his phone.
