Max
Max flinched at how casually this girl threw out the fact that she wasn't human. Did she not understand the consequences that could happen should she confess to the wrong person? His eyes traveled to her outstretched hand, but he did not mirror her enthusiasm. Instead, he blinked and stared blankly at her while his own hands remained in the warm pockets of his hoodie. She might be more than willing to admit what she was, but he wasn't planning on doing so. He would play dumb if he had to. "I'm afraid to say that I have no idea what you're talking about."
Hikari
Hikari was seated on a sturdy tree branch, her legs swinging back and forth gently as she studied the work in front of her with a small smile playing on her lips. School had let for her a couple hours ago, and after hanging out with a couple of friends at an arcade, she decided that it was time to start her homework. She knew of many stars who would turn up their noses at the thought of doing the work of humans, but she really didn't mind. In fact, she loved learning more about their ways and customs, and she found the art of running a pencil over a sheet of paper almost relaxing. It was cold outside, which might've been bad if she wasn't bundled up in layer after layer of clothing.
