Tom walked over to his sister before he gave her a comfort hug. " Now, we just wait till he wakes up. " He said.

Cora softly smiled, putting the first aid kit away. She went outside to sit on the porch swing and swing for a while.

Kat sat on the ground as she watched Gabe. She then sighed as she hugged her kness to her chest.

Tom watched Cora before he followed after her to join her.

Cora softly smiled, laying her head on his shoulder, she closed her eyes to rest for a bit. "So tired, today went not as planned." She added lightly.

Gabe groaned, rubbing his hand over his eyes before opening his eyes.

" Yea. " Tom said, as he looked at her.

Kat lifted her head up when she heard him. " Hey. " She said, softly.

"You know, you have to listen to me sometime, even though you're stubborn as an ox. But when we run into strong rogue leaders like that, you have to run, not stay and fight." She replied, she reached up and undid the snaps of his helmet and pulled it off, kissing his cheek as she set the helmet on the porch table.

"Hey." He said softly in return. "How long have I been out?" He asked, sweat rolled in waves off his skin as the fever died down only a little bit.

Tom smiled when she kissed him. He then shook his head no. " Not going to happen. " He said. He knew he was stubborn, but leaving his friends behind, not going to happen.

" For a few hours. We brought you back here. " Kat said, as she looked down.

"You're stubborn." She said. "I wonder how I deal.with it sometimes." She said, laying her head back down before closing her eyes.

"Hey, it's not your fault." He said, reaching out to cup her cheek. "I wanted to protect you, it's my job to." He said.

Tom chuckled. " But you still love me. " He said.

Kat looked over at him when he cupped her cheek. She smiled before she carefully hugged him. " I know that. I feel bad. " She said.

"I sure do." She replied, yawning as she soon dozed off into a light sleep.

"Don't feel bad." He said, moving onto his side to pull her up on the couch with him, he cradled her in his arms with his forehead touching hers. "Get some rest, you need it." He said.
