Yawning, she stretched and rubbed the eyes, she then rolled to her back and opened them. Smiling, she reached up and poked his nose. "Good morning." She said softly.

The alpha yawned, opening his eyes and blinking against the sunlight shining into the room. He then turned his head to look at Kat, and seeing her looking at him. "Morning." He said with a smile.

Tom chuckled when he poked his nose. " Same to you. " He said.

Kat smiled. " Same to you. Are you hungry or anything? I could make you Something. " She said.

Yawning lightly, she let her hand fall to the ground. "When I sometimes say I hate mornings, it means I gotta get up early." She said, rubbing the sleep from her eyes before she crawled up to a sitting position.

"Um, sure." He said lightly. Stretching again to slowly sit up and crack his back. He then looked at his side to gently.pull the bandages seeing the wound was fully healed.

" Same here. I have never been a morning person. " Tom said.

Kat nodded. She then noticed his wound was full healed. " Your wound. It's healed. " She said.

A brow raised as she looked at him. "But I'm a vampire, I have a reason to say it." She chuckled, getting up before looking out the window. She massaged her neck from the way she slept. "I'm surprised I didn't grow weak.yet for being out or near the sun." She whispered.

"When you're a mythical creature that is still human, you possibly get use to it." He buckled, smiling at her.

Tom nodddd as he leaned back in the sofa. " Yea. " He said.

Kat smiled. " I can go out to get some fresh kill for you. I can cook the meat when I return back. " She said.

Cora sat down, looking down a bit. "Thank you...for last night." She said lightly. "You saved my life there." She then stood and slipped on her shoes. She then looked up at the mailman coming to drop things off. "I'll get it for you, and then I have to run back to my cabin and hope the clan or hunters didn't destroy it." She said, getting the mail, she then went back in and handed it to him, giving him a quick shadow kiss on the cheek before she dashed off into the trees.

Gabe nodded. "If you want to, but stay close to no man's land near the river. There's plenty of game that run along there. Be on guard." He replied, getting up and slipping his shirt back on.

Tom looked at her. " No problem. " He said. He blushed when she kissed him. He then opened the letter to read it. He didn't know what to do. He cared about them. " I'm sorry Kat. I don't think they will hurt you anyways. " He said.

Kat nodddd. " I will. " She said. She grabbed her helmet on the way out. She placed it on her head before she headed outside. She thought today was going to be no trouble. She grabbed her gun when she saw a rabbit, but yelped in surprise when she felt something sharp go into her back. She dropped the gun before more showed up. After they left, her body layed on her side. All bruised and bleeding.

Cora froze when she caught the scent of blood on the wind. "Kat." She whispered, before another scent soon followed. "Hunters." Hissing, she quickly followed the scent of the hunters a mile out from where Kat was. Lunging forward, she tackled the two hunters to the ground, baring her fangs at them. A few minutes later she soon arrived to where the alpha and Kat were, blood dripping down her chin and from her finger tips. "I took care of them." She whispered.


Gabe snapped up alert and on edge when the scent of blood waffles around him. "Oh no." He said, quickly bounding down the stairs. "Tom, your sister!" He said, bounding out the door and into the woods towards the spot where Kat lay. Skidding to a halt, he froze taking in her bruised and bloodied form before falling to his knees beside of her. "Kat." He said, gently picking her up.
