      -----> reyna harvelli
      --->reyna inhaled deeply as she stood in front of the blacksmith's tent, chewing on side of her lip nervously. alas, there was only one person in front of her in line and, after the boy at the moment in front of her comes out, it would be her turn! her eyes widened a little, before she breathed out, allowing her face to fall back to its normal stoicism. from the very beginning, she knew that she was going to sign up to go on the quest. she had already made the decision eons ago, but right now, even if she hid it well, her nerves were about as bad as they'd ever been. she couldn't really identify why, to be honest. reyna blinked. maybe she was simply afraid? no, it couldn't be it. she saw nothing dangerous about this mission and it had been long since she had felt anxious about anything. this should be like walk in a park. have a pure heart, go in, take the stone and return. was it so hard? maybe she feared that her heart wasn't pure enough for the task? after all, in that faithful night when medusa attacked her family, she wasn't able to do anything but watch how her parents were turned into stone. she wasn't able to protect her younger brother, nor her older sister. grim felling entered her heart at the thoughts, but she forced it out, instead focusing her gaze forward at the entrance of the tent.

      --->then the brown haired ashua emerged from the tent. "he asked for the next two people to come in." she said, forcing reyna's eyebrows to knit together. two? that means him and... oh no. reyna breathed in quietly, before putting up a stoic facade and following just after the boy into the tent. "hello," she said after the other boy finished, before following his lead and stating her name and what she supposed was age. "i'm reyna harvelli, fourteen year old."

"Ok, Reyna, trouble boy, pick a paper stick each one, put it under your tongues and give it to me. Make sure they dont touch, or even come closer. It could change the results and maybe even blow up the whole place. Once its done, I will tell you your elements and you will choose a weapon or a piece of defensive gear. And women choose first, trouble guy. I heard enough about you to expect some sort of problem" A bit tired but also lighting up, Igor started to pick up more and more small logs and threw them to the fire, making the fire even bigger, and took the piece of metal from the fire. Instead he placed a hammer.

Andrew Oaker

The boy let his gaze wonder over to the girl next to him. Reyna - he'd remember that. He gave her his polite smile as she introduced herself to Igor before turning back to the blacksmith.
"Trouble? Me?" He mumbled sarcastically to himself - taking a piece of paper and slipping it under his tongue. 'Trouble boy', he didn't like the nickname, it sounded like a bad superhero but the big scary blacksmith was giving it to him so Drew decided to accept it. When he said he'd heard about him he laughed, taking the piece of paper out of his mouth he put a hand over his heart and pulled a shocked expression. "I'm heartbroken~" Drew was a well-known thief, so maybe that was where Igor had heard about him. Actually, Andrew was shocked that he had any sort of pure heart at all - his whole life he'd done nothing but bad, whether he wanted to or not. Who knows, maybe he was linked to some sort of god of mischief? The gods never were truly pure after all, all of the stories were about the love affairs and conflict between them up in the heavens. He watched the man tend to the fire, he looked tired. Can't blame him, magic must be tiring.

      -----> reyna harvelli
      --->trouble boy? rein's eyebrow arched up as she casted a gaze towards the boy, curious about why had the man called him that. after the death of her family, the girl hadn't really gone out much, rather than that, she often stayed at her step-fathers house, studying, reading and learning new things (for example, one such as fighting with sword). she was quite introverted, asocial even and due to that, it was quite obvious why the boy's possible "fame" couldn't reach her ears. she tilted her head slightly to the side, studying the boy's face before she averted her eyes back onto the blacksmith. reyna was quick to take the slip from the man's hand and just as quick to slid it under her tongue and moment later took it out. without saying anything, only sending a quiet and observing gaze towards the duo, she handed the paper slip to the man.

"Lets see your elements and finish quick. First goes the girl." Igor then threw the paper into the fire, and a warm and strong wind left the fire, making Igor and Andrew take a few steps back, whike Reyna seemed to be hit by a soft breeze.

"That was a Sylph? I have never seen someone whose magic power summoned a Sylph before, not when testing the element, at least! That will require a special enchantment..." said Igor, with a surprised face and scratching his head.

"Ok, now lets see what kind of power does this guy have" and Igor threw Andrew's paper to the flames, where the fire got extinguished and the floor started to get more and more water. It was already at the kids knee when Igor smashed on it with a shield he fetched from his room. Then the water banished.
"I knew you were trouble. With that power, you could change this town into a lake in a couple days. Obviously, your power is water, but it seems like there is a big concentration of magic in you. Alright, Wind user, you have to get a weapon or defensive gear from your choice, and Mr Trouble, I would suggest you to get a weapon, it would be better if you used both hands on it like a spear, daggers, a two handed sword or an axe. That way it would be like two normal water enchantments as long as you used one hand in each weapon, and full power when both hands were over the weapon. That would make it easier to use, and control."

"Now is up to you to decide your gifts"

Andrew Oaker

Andrew waited eagerly as Igor took the girls paper and it flew in to the flames. For a second the flames just stood there eating away at the paper but then a rather suprising wind flew out. It was so strong it nearly knocked him off his feet. He cackled happily - he knew it, this would be fun. Andrew had no idea what a Sylph was but it was exhilarating. Drew was sure there were so many kids here with entertaining and powerful abilities like Reyna's. After the fire had calmed down from it's outburst the blacksmith threw Drew's piece of paper in. The fire snatched it away and began to eat, happy with another meal. Then the water dripped out in puddles filling the room in moments. Andrew was silent, in glee, while the blacksmith explained his elemnt to him. Who knew he had that kind of power? Maybe the Gods were with him after all!
The boy then turned to the array of weapons lined amonst the shop. As every other kid came out with such beautiful weapons he wasn't suprised at the sheer amount of fancy things they had lying around. Two-handed huh? He looked around and quickly settled on something. A war sythe - similiar to a naginata but with a shorter blade. The weapon he was looking at was stunning, the blade was so sharp and clean that he could see his reflection in the steel. The woodwork has carvings of snakes and rope running across it and the sythe fitted nicely in his hands. He gave it a fancy twirl and smiled. When else would he have found such a nice thing?
"I'll take this pretty girl!"

      - reyna
      ───────────────────────────────────

      ---> what did reyna expect from the paper slip? well, it certainly wasn't this. as the man threw the slip into the fire, he released a strong gust of wind that shook almost everyone and everything in the tent. it was so powerful that the two males were forced to take few steps back and were nearly knocked off their feet... however, to reyna it was barely a soft breeze that ruffled her hair, playfully throwing it up. when the gush of wind has disappeared and the fire had calmed down, rein allowed her brow to arch up slightly, before her gaze darted towards the blacksmith in hopes to gain an explanation of what she guessed, mostly due to the surprise on the man's face, wasn't very frequently seen effect. her eyebrows knitted together even more when the man gave the answer. - slyphs? she had read about them somewhere. they were the spirits of the air... reyna's averted her gaze away and drifted into thoughts. soon, however, she was forced out of her mind, as something wet touched her skin. water? she looked down, then up into the flame and then at the boy besides her. oh, his element was water... she will remember that... as the water vanished and the man explained the boy his abilities, reyna went onto picking "the gift".

      ---> her eyes ran past the stacks of weapons. bows... swords... daggers... spears... shields... there were even slingshots up for choosing. many weapons of many kinds, however neither caught her attention until she came across an elegant silver spatha [sword] with beautiful hilt and odd design going up about two or three inches from the hilt onto the sword. her eyes gleamed curiously as she reached and grabbed the blade by its hilt. it was well balanced, sharp, double-edged blade. a soft smile tugged on her lips, as she turned around and walked towards the blacksmith, holding the sword in thigh grip. reyna remained quiet, unwilling to open her mouth even when the gods provided such a good opportunity to do so.

"Well, lets get serious here. First lets enchant the little claw. Put the sythe over the table and both hands over it, parallel to your shoulders. We dont want you to die drowned, so try your best to not to move." said Igor.

He took the green candle and threw the wax over Andrew's right hand, pouring more and more into the wood until reaching the left hand. Then, he used the candle heat to melt a bit of the wax in the middle of the line, that after a small prayer, was absorbed by the wood.

"Now, to enchant your weapon... a Sylph is a living being. Rather than you having her magic, you were linked to one since your birth. What we need to do is to put yourself in a mental state where you can talk directly with the Sylph. If you manage to make her work with you, then you will be able to use her powers, or maybe even summoning her." Igor took a knife from under his desk, and made the fire lick its blade twice before turning to the girl.

"I will explain you what we are going to do so you dont get scared. I will make a potion with some herbs and a bit of your blood, that you will draw from your finger as an offering to the spirit. Then you have to drink it."

The potion had a weird smell, hard to identify, and an even worse taste, but once Reyna drinks it, she would leave her body for some time to enter the spirit territory. As Igor gave her the bowl and the knife, he got his weapon ready behind him, without alerting the kids. It wouldnt be the first time that the pact is tried and failed, making the spirit take control of the person.

Andrew Oaker

The boy cheerfully stood in front of the blacksmith and took a big breath. Andrew did as he was told and stayed still throughout the process. It was strange how still the boy was. At the command his fingers did not even quiver, his chest barely moved to breath, nothing but his eyes - which were locked on the blacksmith's hands. When he slept he was like this too. Unless you went right up to his mouth or checked his chest for a pounding heartbeat it was hard to tell he was breathing. While he dreamed he was a warm corpse.
As the man moved to the waxing Drew continued to keep his body still. But the sides of his lips warped into a crooked smile that showed no emotion but insanity.
The smile dissapeared quite quickly though and he hopped himself back to the other side of the room as Reyna's weapon was bound. The sythe in his fingers felt ice-cold to touch but set his heart ablaze. What feeling the weapon was giving him was indescribable - all he knew was that it felt good. He listened as the blacksmith explained what Reyna would have to do. Drew gave an impressed grunt before keeping quiet. Sounded dangerous.

      - reyna
      ───────────────────────────────────

      ---> if reyna didn't know about the magic in the world, she would have most probably darted towards to save the boy from the burning wax by preventing the man to let it fall. however, knowing its existence far to well, stopped her from doing so, instead allowing her to see one type of process of enchanting a weapon before she would have to go through hers. reyna watched with interest as the blacksmith spilled wax on andrew's right hand and poured it over the the wood of the scythe the boy was holding, until reaching his left hand where he stopped. he said something, which to reyna was but a silent mumbling, before he continued on with the green candle spewing it in middle of the made line on the wood, which soon consumed the wax, making the girl's eyes widen slightly. she allowed her gaze to flicker onto the light haired boy in wonder of his opinion on the reaction and was granted a surprise as, instead of awaited awe, confusion, wonder or any other emotion or quick witted answer, she was met by a bit lunatic grin. reyna forced her facial to become solid again, felling a need to show no emotion and no detection towards the strange smile on drew's face, keeping her voice quiet and trying to prepare her mind for whatever ritual she would have to go through, for she knew not if her bounding and enchanting would be the very same to the boy's or different.

      ---> certainly different. after the first few words the man spoke, she had to guess that. and, of course, she was correct. reyna didn't particularly like the idea of going into a mental state. her mental certainly wasn't the best having seen quite many awful things, however she couldn't reject - she after all, as small as it was, had her pride and she had given herself a word to be part of the quest. reyna nodded her head in response and added a quiet "alright." as the men tended to a potion. soon she was handed a bowl and a knife. with a quick movement, reyna pricked her finger, allowing blood to sour out of it and into the bowl. she raised it up to her lips, her nose wrinkling from the strange adore, before she drank it. it didn't taste good - quite opposite actually... even so, she was not particularly fond to admit that it wasn't the worst thing she had ever tasted. the girl eyed the blacksmith observingly, as she swallowed it down.
