Crap, I'm pretty sure I don't have anything, she thought, searching her pockets. "L-like what?" she managed to choke out. She wondered if he was even apart of the zodiacs. Was he a loner?

Amalthea sighed heavily, slipping her hands into her hoodie's pockets. Time to go home, she thought. She hastily turned around and started walking back.

the raven-haired male studied this strange, frightened girl, a smile sitting on his face. "you look so worried," he cooed, his voice soft. stepping away, it was then polaris chuckled, "don't be worried. i won't ask for much." said the zodiac. "only two things. first, a favor. a debt, if i may. and your name - if you're willing to give it." running his hand through his dark locks, the male decided that perhaps he should start it off. "here, as a show of good faith, i'll give you my own name." he stuck out his hand, "you may call me polaris. it's a pleasure to meet you, miss."

She shakily got up and shook his hand. "I'm Amanda. It's nice to meet you." She pulled her hand back and started to slightly shiver.

"well?" the male asked, the question on his tongue. polaris' gaze was piercing as he waited for the redheaded amanda's response. "is that a yes, or a no?" honestly, a singular favor wasn't the worst request that could be made. it was simple, it was clean. but it was also unpredictable. for when polaris came calling - who knew what he would ask for. "the favor - do you accept?" polaris pressed further, getting somewhat annoyed by her delayed responses. he could just leave her here now, it would be a lot easier. but alas.

Haley turned around once she got a fair distance
between the two, now she would follow the girl
who was in the Capricorn zodiac group; to be sure
she left the land of loners and left her brother
alone. Using her enhanced senses, she began to
track the girl; this was another trait that made
her brother and her master assassins. Haley saw
the girl now and laid low in the grass pulling up a
hood to hide her white hair and tail, her ice blue
eyes tracking every movement the girl did.

"O-oh...yeah! Sure, I'll do the favor," she said. She rubbed her hands together nervously. "What is it?"

She saw the border approaching and walked a tad bit faster. She would be lying if she said she wasn't eager to get back home. She was absolutely freezing, and her hoodie was, at the moment, doing little to help her stay warm.

"you won't know until i ask for it, amanda," polaris chuckled, stuffing his hands into his pockets. "that's the point. buuut, since you've agreed, i'm obliqued to hold up my end of the bargain." with a dismissive sigh, the male began to walk away, through the woods, waving for the girl to follow him.

"Right," she mumbled, running after him. Deep down she thought that Polaris was going to get her even more lost, but she followed anyway. "So, er... what zodiac are you?" she said, aware of how stupid she must of sounded trying to make small talk.

"who says i'm one at all?" came polaris' merry reply. as always, he was vague on the subject. the male wore no emblem, had on no articles of clothing that would indicate who he lodged with. leading the girl through the thick underbrush, the dark-haired fellow seemed confident of the direction he was taking. the youth never paused, not once, to check the direction he was heading in. he just seemed to know where to go.
