Panting gently under his breath, Jay ran across the empty streets of the torn up city."Come on.. Come on.."He noticed a ladder and sighed in relief, grabbing it swiftly and climbing it up. Once he got to the rooftop of the half shredded building, Jay scanned the streets looking for his group."Where are they.. Please don't say they left me.."He murmured with a frown.

She looks around, realizing that Jay wasn't back yet. She stands up, and looks at Ava. "Go into the tent, I'll be right back, I promise," She says, as she gets back onto Lexi, riding back into the city, looking for Jay. "Jay!!" She calls, taking her gun out, keeping watch of any zombies. 2 coming from behind a car, she aims and fires, missing one, she clicks her tongue as lexi ran off back toward the area that Jay had to go to.

The boy paused, hearing his leader."Alexis!"Oh he was so relieved to see her."Thank god."He climbed down half way, slipping out his gun for any of the savage animals to leap out from behind them."New record on waiting, i think you broke it."He teased and climbed on holding onto her shoulders."Lets go."He said through slight pants.

Laughing she flicked the reigns, and shakes her head. "Sorry, I ran into a small situation," She says, putting her gun away, as Lexi heads to the camp, running faster than usual, Alexis looks at the horse. "Something must be really scaring her. She's running faster than usual," She says worringly.

Frowning at Alexis, Jay bit his lip as he heard screams."Wait.. Stop.."He murmured his eyes widen in alert. Hopping off the horse, Jay looked around taking out his gun and hoping for none of the deceased humans to come forward towards him."Okay.. Lets go."He told her backing up and climbing back up on the horse."Before we go though.."Jay said and had his gun aimed at a space."Wait for it.."He murmured, his eyes widen noticing a human leaping out and charging for them. Before the animal could come any closer to them both, Jay gave a shot, which was quite promising."Alright lets go!"He said.

"Nice looking out," She says laughing and clicking her tongue, the horse running to the camp. She starts to slow down to a walk when she got there, Alexis jumps off, going to the tent, and grabbing her bag. "There's snacks here," She says, handing the bag to Jay. Lexi snorts, eating the grass and flicking her tail free of flies. Alexis laughs and shakes her head, rubbing Lexis snout.

Nodding at her, Jay looked around gripping her shoulders, not too hard though. After a few moments, he smiled at her and slipped off the horse."Thank you."He said and leaned back onto a tree, taking out some food and already digging in from hunger. Jay sighed and glanced at Alexis, giving a smile, but it soon faded into a frown.

She starts to eat a little, and looks Jay who's smile started to fade, she sat in the grass infront of him. "Are you okay?" She asks, worringly. Putting her snack down, she looks at Jay, crossing her legs into indian style, and putting her hand on his for comfort.

Gulping down his food, Jay all the sudden didn't feel hungry."It's just.. fear.. i guess.."He murmured staring down at the ground."I keep thinking about... us all turning into.. zombies."Jay added with a raspy voice. With his free hand, he put away the snack bag and inhaled a breath not even minding her hand on his."Were.. never safe.. at any time we can be bitten.."He explained.

She sighs, looking down, and shaking her head. "Don't think like that. We'll be fine... We've gotten this far, we can keep going," She says reassuringly. "Nobody is going to turn, I promise." She says, hugging him and sitting back down. "I know it's scary, but there's not much we can do, but try to stay positive and keep going," She explains, her hair falling into her face as she looks down again, ripping a piece of grass apart.
