Advika chuckled also, at the sound of a guy giggling. It's a rare thing, guys giggling. "Thanks, but you better tell that to my mom, she picked it out." She answered, and sure enough, her mother left the kitchen and went into the room Advika and Josef was in, which was the dining room.
"You're back, Advika...and...you brought a friend, who is this?" Her mother said, a smile plastered onto her face.

He blinked and tilted his head a bit at her statement
'Tell that to her mom??' He thought before looking up at the other woman who had come in from the kitchen
"Fräulein! I am Josef Heilburg... Pleased see you!" The German said with his broken English, moving towards her with a smile and an outstretched hand to greet the mom

"Oh, it's nice to meet you, what a refreshing change of attitude from what we have had around here lately," the mother exclaimed, taking his hand and shaking it as she gave her daughter, Advika, a pointed look, who just rolled her eyes. "You can call me Regina, Josef." The woman continued, a charming smile on her face.

He chuckled and smiled, glancing back at Advi slightly before returning to the older woman. ""Nice meet you... Regina!" he said "You haf nice home!"

"Oh, thank you," Regina answered as her husband, Charles, came into the room and walked over to Advika, giving her she hug.
"Glad you're back, I was starting to get a bit worried, you were gone for a while."
Advika sighed and reluctantly hugged her dad back,"Yeah...I was perfectly safe with Josef." She replied.

He stood stiffly when the father came in, 'someone I need to impress even more.' He thought as he moved to introduce himself to him. "Hallo... I am Josef Heilburg!" He said and held out a hand happily, smiling a bit over his round rimmed glasses

"Hello, Mr. Heilburg, you may call me Charles." Answered the father as he pulled away from the hug he gave his daughter and accepted the hand shake Josef offered.
"Oh, mom, I'm going to go get some supplies for the trip to the...mate party," Advika said the last two words with slight disgust, "So you, Dad, and Josef can talk unless you want to help me?" She directed the question to Josef, looking at him with a polite smile.
