Percy opened the window quickly, and jumped. They fell far, until they were barely 50 feet off from the ground. At that point, Percy shrunk a bit and turned into a bat, and swirled down town with Akemi hanging on to him.

She held in screams as she knew it would only hurt her voice. "C'mooooon! Get to the ground already!" she told him. Once they were about five feet from the ground she let go and landed on her tippy toes. "Follow me." she said and began to run tippy toed and barefooted through town in what looked like a hospital gown... because it was. She had many odd stares as she ripped off the gown knowing her clothes were underneath. Sadly she didn't have shoes and she kept stepping on stones and glass but she continued to run.

Percy turned into human and barrel rolled in front of Akemi and ran with her. "Where are you going?!" He shouted.

She tripped when she moved to the left and accidentally hit Percy. "You'll see!" she said and quickly stood up and wiped away blood from her lip. "Gosh darn it. See what you did!?" she yelled with a smile. She was surprisingly fast for her being mortal and she took his hand and dove into a dark alley way that led into a different section of a different street. She then sped across the road and hopped along a few cars and past houses into the forest. "My feet are hurting like h*ll! UGH!" she complained but continued running. After they lost the sound of sirens they found themselves upon the treehouse and she quickly climbed up the ladder and sat on the terrace. She then inspected her feet and sighed. They were bruised and a shard of glass stuck into one of them. "Do you have any bandages?" she asked with a tired tone.

After running, Percy felt much better. He didn't get 'winded' or anything, but his eyes were still bright red. "Yeah..." He said, staring at the bloodless bandage on his arm. He ripped it off to find a long, black scar where his cut was. He tried to ignore the shock. He motioned for Akemi to sit down and she did. He bent down and picked up her foot.

It was looked bad. Percy frowned as he saw a piece of glass stuck in her foot. Using his fingers, he ripped it out. Blood started to pour from the wound. Woops, Percy forgot he was a vampire. His eyes glowed brighter as he threw himself back and put his hand over his eyes.
