✂ Xile High has 12 students. 6 boys; 6 girls. No more - no less. (For now, that is.)

✂ Only highly-trained professionals in the art of killing can enroll. It's for your safety, trust me.

✂ Every student is given a target. You must get rid this target in anyway you choose.
This doesn't necessarily mean 'killing.'

✂ After enrollment, you'll recieve a letter in the mail (PM) given the information on your target - a.k.a, that student's enrollment number (1-12.) This is how you'll know who your target is/will be, depending if they've enrolled by the time you've joined. These are decided by a random generator, of course! We want to be fair here at Xile.

(If your target isn't yet attending Xile High, we recommend you get to know your fellow students in the meantime. You never know who could end up your enemy.. or your much-needed ally. Or a lover, perhaps? It's all up to how you play the game.)

✂ You'll be given a second target in the same letter. This target you must protect at all cost. Let them die? You just might be expelled.
It might be best to get close to them. But hey, you never know - maybe they're assigned to.. exile you!

✂ When one target is eliminated, new letters will be sent out. You'll be given two different targets at random. Or maybe they'll be the same as before.

Will your new targets be your friends, your lovers, or your enemies? Who knows!

✂ You're allowed to publicly announce who your target is or isn't, the administration will keep track of all your truths and lies on the front page. But beware, my dear - tangling yourself in a web of lies might just get you eaten.

I recommend getting close to your own secrets.

✂ You can't 'get rid' of anyone who isn't your own target. Sorry, but you have goals in mind for a reason - don't tell me this is fun for you?

✂ Interested in the grand finale? The holy prize? The end game? What happens if you succeed in your mission?

Oh, I can't tell you those things. You'll just have to play and find out! Read on for the official 'rules' and the enrollment process.

So you've read this far? Then I assume you're ready to get into the nitty gritty.

✂ All of Tess's rules apply - but there's one that's the most important:

Keep violence/gore to a minimum. Yes, this is an RP that might involve some violence. But in order for this to remain kid-friendly, we've got to work together to stay away from the gore.

Your character might have a weapon, and that's great! Does this mean you have to go full-out and take three paragraphs to describe how you use it? No, it doesn't. That'll get you kicked out. I'd really like for this game to be successful, so in order to keep it alive and not be 'shut-down' we'll have to follow these rules. Like I said, this is by far the most important.

✂ For now.. please only create one character, boy or girl. I'll keep the slots updated. Your character can be non-binary, in which case I'll put you in the category of whichever gender is underused. I'll talk about this more on the next post.

(Note - This doesn't mean you'll always have to have one character! If this doesn't blow-up or anything but a few of us would love to keep playing, I'll allow more than one character to fill the 12 slots. The only reason this is confusing is if you end up having to eliminate/protect your own character, which is a bridge we'd have to cross once/if we get there.)

✂ Absolutely no 'power playing.' This means going around acting like you're invincible, basically. If someone attacks you (non-gory and with short sentences, obviously) - you're being attacked. You can't just.. avoid it and say something like 'omg lol I kill you.'
That isn't how the world works, and that isn't how this RP works.

✂ Going off the above rule.. if you die, you die! If you leave/are eliminated/exiled.. please accept it. You can most definitely create another character to fill your spot. And aren't new beginnings fun, anyways?

✂ Please don't complain on who your targets are. Don't like who you're protecting? Fine, don't protect them. Just hope they can do it themselves!

✂ Talk in italics when your character is thinking. Talk in ( ) (( )) [ ] { } when you're talking out of character, or take it to PM if need be.

✂ Minor swearing is allowed, but remember - kid friendly! If a scene gets err.. frisky or you know there's too much violence to be typed out, please 'fob' (fade to black.)

✂ Fill people in when needed. This is important, guys.
Even though we're all against eachother, we're also a team. Duh.

✂ If someone hasn't been active for a certain number of pages, I/the other members of this RP do have the right to kick them out. So sorry! If that user decides to join again, they're very welcome, but only if they remain just as dedicated as the other members.

Woohoo! That sure went by fast, didn't it? You're almost ready to enroll.

✂ Like I said in the post above, one boy or girl character. This is definitely expected to change later on!

✂ You're probably wondering why this is in 'fantasy.' Because yeah - you get some kind-of ability! You may choose one weapon your character wields and one ability/power.

But no guns, time travel, or anything too overpowered or extreme - please. There is no promise your weapon and/or power will be accepted.

An example of a physical weapon would be a knife, hammer, sword/katana, etc. If your character is good with their hands/body or is a master of some form of martial art, that takes up their 'weapon' space - keep this in mind!

An example of a nice power/ability would be mindreading, invisibility, flight, x-ray vision, superspeed. The basics.

Feel free to get creative, but do keep it simple and limit how much your body deforms (You cannot be a shapeshifter, vampire or a werewolf - sorry! You have some kind-of power, but you're still very much human.)

✂ Once someone has called a power, it belongs to them.
We don't want like, a billion invisible teenagers running around. That's no fun, is it? Try and be original.

✂ Your character goes by '___' just one name. Like 'Emily', 'Max', 'Haru' or whatever. You can obviously get creative with your own names, but no last names or prefixes/suffixes.
We have an aesthetic to maintain, and since we're killing one another anyways, why get too familiar with our fellow students?

✂ You're free to get fancy with your forms, I'll post them all on this front page. Just make sure you include your character's name, character's photo/link to photo (preferred for spacing), and your abilities (weaponry included.)

✂ This is still a High School. You can't be like a 50 year old man, sorry kiddos.

✂ Backstories and personality descriptions aren't needed here. Plus, do you really want to give away your life story to a bunch of blood thirsty animals? You're free to add whatever you'd like to your form, but keep in mind that it isn't necessary.

If you'd like to 'rp out' your character's personality, that's totally cool. Who enters High School knowing who to befriend and stay away from? Nobody. In the real world, everything is 'rp-ed' out, in a sense.

✂ Your character is your own - obviously you can search for your own photo online, but don't just link a photo to Princess Bubblegum or a popular fairytale or anime character.. that's just too obvious. Try and source all photos, if you can!

Finger claws, a set of ten sharp, minuscule blades that can be attached to the fingers. There's a bonus claw on the pointer finger, much like a raptor dewclaw. The blade is serrated, for slicing action. Relatively versatile in a fight, though they can take a few minutes to correctly apply all ten.


✂ Special Ability of Choice;
He can manipulate his vocal cords for a variety of uses, allowing him to not only replicate, project, and mimic the voices of those around him, but use it in a offensive manner as well by creating a sonic shriek that can rupture the blood vessels in his ear. Likewise, he is capable of producing a sweet siren song associated with an emotion to cause discord and chaos. The only problem? Well, Lazarus isn't immune to his own ability, and therefore must carry around wax or earplugs in order for his ability to work properly on everyone else. He'll attempt to serenade one to sleep, only to have him fall asleep in the process. It's very troublesome.

Oh, and one last thing; he's a hugger! ( - traits; unpredictable, bipolar, moody )

Nagato lived with his parents: Fusō and Ise on the outskirts of Amegakure. When he was very young, Madara Uchiha secretly transplanted his Rinnegan into Nagato without his or his parents' knowledge. Sometime later, during the Second Shinobi World War, Nagato and his parents took shelter in their home to avoid the fighting going on around them. One day, two Konoha shinobi broke into their home looking for food and Nagato and his parents tried to sneak out unnoticed. When they were discovered, his parents attacked the shinobi so that Nagato could escape. The Konoha ninja killed his parents in self-defence and, upon realising they were only civilians, tried apologising to Nagato. Overcome with grief, Nagato used Madara's Rinnegan for the first time to kill them and avenge his parents. After burying his parents, Nagato, now an orphan, was forced to leave home and begin wandering in search of food and shelter. With resources scare due to the ongoing war, no one he met would help him until Nagato, who had collapsed from hunger, was found by Konan and Yahiko, orphans like himself. They banded together, acquired food to survive through any means, and shared dreams of a future where they were in charge and could use their power to eliminate war. Yahiko was particularly passionate about this point, which inspired Nagato to adopt the same goal. In order to accomplish this, the three would need to become ninja. With few options to choose from, they approached Konoha's Legendary Sannin and asked to be taught ninjutsu. Orochimaru offered to kill them in order to end their suffering, but Jiraiya, guilty over his participation in the war, offered to teach them how to look out for themselves. Jiraiya found a place for them to live and taught them how to fish, but he would not teach them ninjutsu. While the orphans were out one day, they were found and assaulted by an Iwagakure chūnin. Fearing for his friends' lives, Nagato used his Rinnegan to kill the Iwa-nin. When Jiraiya arrived on the scene to help them, he noticed Nagato's eyes for the first time and was reminded of the legends of the Sage of the Six Paths, the original possessor of the Rinnegan. Because of this, Jiraiya changed his mind and began teaching them ninjutsu. Nagato was remorseful for killing the Iwa-nin, but Jiraiya convinced him that sometimes violence and personal pain was necessary to protect others. In time he even shared his belief that Nagato was the Sage of the Six Paths' reincarnation and that, like the original Sage, Nagato would use his Rinnegan to usher in a world of peace. Jiraiya trained the orphans for three years. Because of his Rinnegan, Nagato easily mastered everything he was taught. Once they were able to defeat one of his shadow clones in a fight, Jiraiya decided they were ready to forge out on their own and he returned to Konoha, confident they would bring reform to the country. The three formed an organisation they called Akatsuki, with Yahiko as its leader, and began advocating an end to war. Their message proved popular and they gathered many followers; even Jiraiya would sometimes hear news of their exploits. During the Third Shinobi World War, they were approached by a disguised Obito Uchiha. Introducing himself as Madara Uchiha, he offered to help them in their pursuits and show Nagato how to unlock the full potential of his Rinnegan. Yahiko refused the offer, suspecting Tobi only meant to use them. Throughout their quest for peace, Akatsuki's ranks swelled and became known throughout Amegakure, so much so that Hanzō of the Salamander, the village's leader, began to feel Akatsuki threatened his rule. He approached Akatsuki, offering to work together with them to help negotiate with the other warring villages. The next day, at a meeting to finalise the arrangement, Yahiko and Nagato were ambushed by Hanzō and his men, with support from Konoha's Danzō Shimura. Using Konan as a hostage, Hanzō threatened to kill her if Nagato did not kill Yahiko. Unwilling to let Nagato have that on his conscience, Yahiko impaled himself on Nagato's kunai, using his dying breath to state his faith that Nagato would change the world. Enraged by Yahiko's death, Nagato took Konan back from Hanzō, though his legs were badly damaged in the process. He then summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and, upon linking with it, used it to slaughter Hanzō's men, though Hanzō himself escaped. Afterwards, Nagato severed his ties with Amegakure by slashing the village's symbol on his forehead protector, no longer wishing to be affiliated with Hanzō's village. Yahiko's death ultimately convinced Nagato that his philosophies about achieving peace were foolish; the world would never willingly end the cycle of death and hatred it had operated on for so long. Only through direct experience of war and all the losses and agonies it brought could anyone truly desire peace. Intending to personally bring that level of despair to the world, Nagato took on the name of "Pain". Every Sunday, Nagato would cease the constant rain in Ame as a tribute to Yahiko.

Nagato was a sensitive child, prone to crying over the sufferings of himself and others. When he met Yahiko he tried to break this habit by following Yahiko's philosophy that crying wouldn't change anything, but the attempt was unsuccessful. Jiraiya later pointed out to him that his sensitivity was actually a strength, as it allowed him to understand pain better and, in turn, be kinder to others. This view resonated with Nagato and caused him to realise that he wanted to take on all of his friends' pain so that they wouldn't have to. It also finally succeeded in ending his crying; when Jiraiya left their group it was Yahiko who cried to see him go, while Nagato only thanked him for all the guidance he'd provided. In one form or another, Nagato spent his entire life placing the needs of others before his own: his main motivation for becoming a ninja in the first place was so that he could protect Yahiko and Konan. As a child that grew up in the middle of other countries' wars, Nagato did not like killing and was horrified by his early acts of violence against those who had harmed his friends and family. He supported Yahiko's Akatsuki because it wanted to end the wars and deaths that he hated so much. After Yahiko's death, Nagato compromised his aversion to killing to a large extent, believing the deaths of specific individuals or even hundreds at a time could be justified if it served a greater and/or long-term purpose. But Nagato remains very clear in this distinction, as he shows mercy to those willing to cooperate with him and discourages others from defying him because it will only force him to strike them down. Minato Namikaze believes that, at some point along the way, Nagato's views were corrupted and subsequently manipulated by Tobi.
Despite the number of personal changes Nagato went through during his life, he always remained fundamentally kind and respectful. With his fellow members of Akatsuki, he mourns those who die in the pursuit of Akatsuki's goals and disapproves of name-calling amongst peers. He extends similar courtesies to his opponents, being honoured to meet one so strong as Kakashi Hatake, despite also being determined to kill Kakashi because that very same strength would inevitably interfere with Akatsuki's plans. For all his kindness, Nagato has a certain prejudice against Konoha because its ninja have played a role in a number of his life's tragedies. He tried to change this opinion because of Jiraiya's positive influence, but ultimately decided that Konoha's successes were predicated on the misfortunes of others.

Force Magic, something that was created in his eyes when he witnessed his parents death. He is always hesitant to use it and usually fights close ranged rather than using it, as he can only use it when in great pain.
Force magic is pretty much it's title. He uses an invisible force to repel attacks, but it takes energy and he can only use it once every ten seconds when in use.

She's technically some kind of fairy thing, but she got kicked out of magical-fairy-land because in my version of fairy society it's illegal to alter your body, hence Reena's many piercings and tattoos and well.. you get it I'm sure. So, normal fairy powers. She's not tiny, shes just an average 17 year old girl size. She has basic elemental powers but they're.. pretty crap pff. Her fire is like a sad, empty lighter and shes lucky if it's anything but sparks, her water is like dumping a cup of water on someone, her wind is like a normal fan you keep in your house, and her earth isn't even earth, it just lets her talk to animals.

✂ Description - Reena is a little punk who tries really hard to be intimidating but secretly just really likes deer and thinks fairies are jerks. She's kind of moody sometimes and likes to listen to music more than she likes to listen to people talk, but she's friendly most of the time since she usually forgets that she wants to be cool and tough and just acts like-- a fairy. She's got a lot of pent up anger and has spent most of her life training with a blood mage, but she never really took to the art she had been meaning to learn and just kind of stuck to the basics. Death doesn't really phase her anymore.

✂ Weapon of Choice; 'Claws'~ Speaking in specifics, her fingernails are sharpened, and covered in a thin diamond layer. The diamond layer is so thin, it's nearly impossible to spot, though it sparkles a bit when light hits them, this coating is merely to keep her 'claws' from breaking.

✂ Special Ability of Choice; Wolf Physiology~ Jade has a tail and ears, along with heightened senses. Her ears are sensitive to sounds, and her tail is sensitive to touch. She has an excellent sense of smell due to her ability. Her tail changes color depending on her emotional state, normally being black like her ears, it will turn purple if she is embarrassed or feeling shy.

✂ Jade has a split personality, her regular self being shy and timid, and far from a 'trained killer'. Her other self, who identifies as Lia, is...well....let's just say once you meet Jade, you'll be thrown for a loop if you meet her other half. One might find her outfit of choice a bit odd, as she is constantly wearing pajamas, as she finds 'regular clothes' restricting and uncomfortable.

✂ Special Ability of Choice; She can manipulate flames. She can create them in her hand and survive through any fire. Kira likes to make things explode.

✂ Kira's a flirt, prankster, and the one to always laugh. She's usually #1 on your hate or love list. She can be emotional and unstable. She's hot headed and awkward. Kira can be blinded by love along with hate. This fire beast despises being viewed as weak and often tries to stay strong. Her tears are hot and can burn anything besides herself. I guess you could say she's the most dangerous when she's emotional.

✂ Side notes - She can be a great ally or your worst enemy. Her father was a sailor and left home when Kira was only 6. He said he would come back in a month so after every month Kira would rush out to shore and try to spot her father. Month after month, year after year. Her mother was devastated and had given up hope but Kira kept on hoping. When she 15 there was a note send by her father's second in command said he was found dead in a bar. Her father had failed and lied to her. Now Kira often has her walls up and can't truest easily afraid of being hurt again.

✂ Weapon of Choice;
Finger claws, a set of ten sharp, minuscule blades that can be attached to the fingers. There's a bonus claw on the pointer finger, much like a raptor dewclaw. The blade is serrated, for slicing action. Relatively versatile in a fight, though they can take a few minutes to correctly apply all ten.


✂ Special Ability of Choice;
He can manipulate his vocal cords for a variety of uses, allowing him to not only replicate, project, and mimic the voices of those around him, but use it in a offensive manner as well by creating a sonic shriek that can rupture the blood vessels in his ear. Likewise, he is capable of producing a sweet siren song associated with an emotion to cause discord and chaos. The only problem? Well, Lazarus isn't immune to his own ability, and therefore must carry around wax or earplugs in order for his ability to work properly on everyone else. He'll attempt to serenade one to sleep, only to have him fall asleep in the process. It's very troublesome.

✂ + traits; happy-go-lucky, shameless, resourceful. ) Lazarus is a very spontaneous, unpredictable guy. Prone to constant mood changes, it's hard to associate him with one particular trait. He's relatively adaptable, relying on, [ and even some cases ] predicting a situation before it even starts. Has a sort of politician's charm, which makes him an able-bodied distractor. Oh, and one last thing; he's a hugger! ( - traits; unpredictable, bipolar, moody )
