He moved the mirror in front of Ruty's face, the mirror reflecting him.

Ruty backed up slightly when he put the mirror in front of him. "what are you doing?" He asked quietly, staring at himself in his reflection.

"Testing, as I said. Did you know people in the old ages believed that mirrors were a portal to a different dimension?" Closed the pocket mirror. "Now here is my question to you. What do you see yourself as?"

Ruty blinked a few times and looked up at him, "I see myself as a desperate, worthless, idiot." He said angrily, letting out a low growl.

"And what makes you say that?"

Ruty sighed, "I am desperate to get out of this hell hole. I have no clue why I even exist. And my entire life I've thought I could actually do things." He snapped.

He nodded. "Interesting. By actually do things, do you mean something like living a normal life?" He leaned down a bit, staring at him.

Ruty frowned and glared at the man. "I suppose." He muttered quietly.

"Lovely." ran a hand through his own hair. "If I said you could live that 'Normal life', would you?"

Ruty thought for a moment before shaking his head. "No. I wouldn't. I wouldn't be able to get a job, because I wouldn't have any money, and I wouldn't have the education to be able to do really anything."
