Jake was walking home from his hunt. His Demon Wolf, Spike, was right by his side with a rabbit in his mouth. Jake hunted some random human down and accidentally took too much blood, so the human ended up dying. He finally reached his house, which was a small log cabin deep inside the forest. Opening the door, Spike rushed and inside and claimed a spot on the leather couch. Jake sat next to the beast and checked his phone. He was so bored.

Raphaël could then hear them. He recognized Raven's voice, and the other was male. Unfamiliar, but definitely human. He could tell that they were exchanging names, and were confused as to where they were. As one typically would be in such a situation. The girl he'd claimed -- Raven -- he could feel her eyes just barely flitting over him. She was wary of her surroundings. They both were. Attentive. Cautious.

He then decided that he would no longer blend in, and would instead show himself. He'd come off as a human. Harmless. Showing no intentions of hurting them. And he did not intend to hurt them, not a bit.
Perhaps just spook them a bit.
He smirked softly, then tucked a loose strand of his dark hair behind his ear before slowly approaching the two of them, one eyebrow arched.
"What are you two doing out in the woods.. alone?" He purred, keeping his voice low and smooth.

she looked to the side and Andrew noticed two small holes on the side of her neck. suddenly very alert, he was about to say something about them when a man appeared out of nowhere and addressed them. something felt off about him and Andrew was sure he would have heard the man walking up. he took a few steps backward and closer to Raven before answering warily, "nothing. just going on a walk. what about you?"
