"Yup," he said while handing her a ruler, "the measurements are all on here.Can you draw the roof?" He sat down infront of a plank and looked at the paper for some measurements.

Sapphire: tags Antonio:
She stared at him speechless for a moment. "This is ridiculous," she said with a sigh, but her wings remained closed.

Bella/tagged: Zachery

Bella took the ruler and took a peek at the page. "Sure..." She sat down next to him and started marking the correct areas, using the ruler as both a straightedge and a measuring tool. As she worked, the blonde tapped her fingers on the wooden plank in a melodic rhythm.

Antonio/tagged: Sapphire

"Yeah, I guess it is, but it'll only be for a few seconds." The brown-haired boy just realized just how awkward the idea sounded, but at least it would get them both to the sky level. Looking around them, he tried to find something like a board but noticed a fire escape on what he assumed was an apartment complex. "Or we could use that!" He raised his hand to point to the partially-rusted ladder and platform system.

Zachery: tags Bella:
He grabbed another ruler off the shelf and started sketching the walls. After a he had finished one he looked up to see how Bella was doing. He smiled and looked back down at his plank.

Sapphire: tags Antonio:
She looked at where he was pointing and nodded. "That should work," she replied, and scanned the ladder to see if it was intact.

Bella/tagged: Zachery

The blonde grinned when she had finished the first shape that was meant to the overall roof. Leaning back in contentment, Bella glanced over at Zachery. "I have finished the first piece!" She said in mock self-praise before setting the plank with the measurements down next to her and looking over to see if there were any other sections that she needed to do. The girl placed the pencil behind her ear as she scooted herself closer to get a better look.

Antonio/tagged: Sapphire

Antonio raised his wings and pushed off with them, taking to the air. He had seen the edges of one of the ladders on the top starting to separate from the edges of the platform. Gently landing on the metallic surface, he crouched down and held onto the highest rungs of it, keeping it still for anyone to climb on it. "What are you waiting for? Try it out!" The dark haired male grinned, shouting down at the girl while still clamping onto the ladder.

Zachery: tags Bella:
He looked up from his ark and grinned. "Great," he replied, "what part do you want to do next?"

Sapphire: tags Antonio:
She looked up with a determined face and began to climb. Her wings were carefully folded up behind her so that they were out of that way. 'One step at a time, take it slowly,' she thought.

Bella/tagged: Zachery

Her green eyes scanning the paper once more, she looked up to her companion. "How about the flooring? It looks to be almost identical to the roof." She said, looking back down and pointing to the instructions in between the two of them. She started reaching for the pencil again, putting it on the ground.

Antonio/tagged: Sapphire

The Spaniard waited patiently, his light weight not effecting the wired platform underfoot. He gave Sapphire an encouraging look at she was climbing, silently cheering her on.

Zachery: tags Bella:
"Go for it," he replied, "I'll get the saw in a minute." He quickly finished the pillar he was drawing on the plank.

Sapphire: tags Antonio;
'Alright almost there,' she thought, as she reached for the next rung.

(Sorry for the super short post, I'll try to make a long one next time.)

Bella/tagged: Zachery

Bella nodded and began to start making the same measurements before, but on different wood this time. Trying to make small talk as she worked, the blonde asked a simple question. "So do you have anywhere in mind where you want to hang this when we're finished?" She asked, not looking up.

Antonio/tagged: Sapphire

The boy used one of his wings to steady the ladder the girl was on, the brown feathers pressing it to the brick wall that was it's support. Antonio waited for her arrival at the second platform out of three.

Zachery: tags Bella:
"Well I was thinking of putting it somewhere on the fort, or if that isn't possible, somewhere near it," he replied, 'so we can watch it from here." He paused for a moment, as if to think. "Do you any ideas?" he looked and asked.

Sapphire: tags Antonio:
Sapphire let out a deep breath as she reached the next platform. 'Flying is so much easier, this is annoying!' she thought, 'although, I am glad we found another option, maybe I'm small, but I weigh more than a feather.' She pushed some hair out of her face and looked up the ladder.

Bella/tagged: Zachery

The blonde stood up abruptly, abandoning the current project for the moment. Making her way over to an opening in the wood, Bella peeked her head out. "Is there a particular area you use often? That's accessible from the outside, I mean?" She leaned back in to look at the other winged person.

Antonio/tagged: Sapphire

Realizing that he had flown over the area when he had arrived in the town, Antonio recalled that there was a park nearby. Positioning his head so that he could see the girl climbing, he called down to her. "Hey, chica, I think that there is a children's playground nearby. I bet they won't mind if we borrow a swing to use..."
