Her eyebrows raised, "Impressive" smiling towards Celaena, "I can do that... on a good day" Abby winked, thinking of how much she would have to stretch before hand. She quietly listened to their gun conversation, impressed and slightly intimidated. Her eyes wandered into the speckled sky. Abby wondered if it all was real, or she just might wake up and have class that morning. The senior couldn't wait to be done with school, however, deep down, going to school men't a normal life. Curious, her eyes left the skies and met Celaena "So where did you live, before all this?" she asked mid yawn.

Celaena sighed and took her finger out of her mouth. It was slightly throbbing but she could take pain. Celaena finished taking the fish off the spit and put them on leaves. She handed each person a fish and then sat down with hers. "Well, I used to live in Chicago. Well, not really Chicago. I lived in a suburb around it. Very small town but I like it." Celaena took a small bit of her fish. "What about you guys?" She asked Abby and Rafael

Sitting up, Abigail replied, "I grew up in Minnesota, but my Dad's work moved us to Florida this past year" eyeballing her fish to decide where to bite. "He told us we would go back up north soon, but soon couldn't come fast enough..." making her feel homesick. She loved her summer weather, but not 365 days of the year. The winter holidays just weren't the same without the cold and snow. Taking a bite of her meat, a smile crossed her face. The fish tasted much better than expected. "Complements to the chef, too bad some fingers had to suffer" she joked, taking another bite. Abby's head turned towards Rafael, awaiting his response.

Abigail wasn't the only one who was eyeballing her fish, Todd's head lifted from the sand at the scent of cooked meat. He began to pester his friend's mind come on, gimme the food, using his big puppy dog eyes.

Celaena smiled at Abigail "I would rather live in Florida. Some of the winters got so cold that there were news warnings not to go outside. I hated the winter. In the winter,, it was freezing. In the summer, it was steaming hot. There was never a perfect temperature." Celaena noticed Todd eyeballing the fish. She took off a chunk of her fish and reached her hand out to Todd to give him the fish.

"I hale from Michigan", He said with a shrug, "Its too hot for me in Florida...Or really anywhere in the south." He raised his brow leaning up a bit, "It was weird when I came down to Florida. See up north at our Wendys we have jalapenos on our sandwiches. They don't even offer it and then you have all these people drinking sweet tea...? I have to tell you regular tea is just as good. Some raspberry zinger was my favorite. Rich, read tea." He nodded in remembrance of it.

Celaena dropped the chunk of fish in front of Todd. "I like Florida weather. I prefer heat over coolness. My body handles heat very well. I can take boiling hot showers and I would be fine. I'm not as good with coolness." Celaena sat back down next to Rafael and handed him a fish.

Elizabeth sat facing the forest, turned away from the other Survivors. She would go home soon, she was sure of it. She wondered why she didn't just have her herd storm the place, kill everyone there. She guessed it was because she felt for these people, in a way. They were almost like her test subjects, she didn't much care how well they were, so long as they weren't dead. She didn't want to talk to the girl with the fox, she could tell that she hadn't much interest in being 'friends'.
Boring here. There's new people.
Must bring some excitement, someone new to talk to?
No. Doesn't like me.
Oh. Well, we're going to bring you back soon.
Not soon enough. I miss my home.
Just don't pick any fights. That can't end good.
How could I like this? Can barely move. Don't want to talk to any of these people.
She wanted to go back to her camp, where she could be away from these people. These people, that expected her to get along. Like she would ever want to help them, after the girl's tiger had made her fall like that. After all the stupid bird-man had done to her, after she helped his bird. After all those strange looks shot her way, like she was some sort of monster. She didn't need them, they could just go and die and she would be none the worse for wear. It would be one less problem to deal with.

Ashley took the fish and almost ate it in one bite. It wasn't enough to fulfill the growling beast inside, but it was enough to make it quieter. She had pro,is ed herself to ask the others about the mark, so she turned to the others and raised her head. " So, uh, I was in the forest before I came here and when I did get out, I got this weird mark on my forearm. That guy we found had one too and I noticed most of our guys did too. So I wanted to ask you guys what it means. She spoke as she raised her arm for the others to see the mysterious mark.

Celaena looked at Ashley's mark. She lifted her own wrist to show Ashley her mark. "Ya. You get the mark when you see the animal you are supposed to bond with. Did a voice not tell you this when you first came back to consciousness?" Celaena asked as she put more fish on the spit.

Ashley looked at Calaena with confusion. She doesn't remember hearing anything when she had become conscious from the crash. " No... no voice. But I saw this weird shadowy thing in the forest and I heard something, a voice, but I thought I was hallucinating. "" She said. She knew the creature was large, had wings and was a very dark color.
