Michael Hudson startled awake after a few minute, or possibly an hour long nap he'd decided to grab to freshen himself up. He sat himself upright on his bed and decided it was around time to get out and do something. He heard footsteps outside his door and sighed heavily and slid out of his door into the hallway with ease. He saw a kid around his age dart past. He grinned and knew it was just another day of the same things. A cold chill ran down his spine when he realized he hadn't checked his appearance. He assumed it was his standard for and went along with his life anyway. Walking slowly down the hall...

Finishes packing and bookshelf filled Ripley smiled to herself and stepped out of her room and back into the hall with her book in hand and headed to the courtyard. Looking at the stone walls and the decor that surrounded her Ripley was excited for day break and the start of classes. She couldn't wait to learn.

Luke sat indian style in his slightly dimmed room,focusing on making flower crowns which he had a small obsession with. Though the boy never wore them he would frequently gift them to his sister or just do it out of pure boredom which happened more often than not with him. The boy had his tongue poking out of the side of his mouth and his chocolate brown eyes squinted in pure concentration. "one more measly knot and bam! Done" he stated triumphantly. The flower crown had lilac and light blue flowers weaved through it,with a heavy sigh the boy lifted himself off the ground taking the flower crown with him and placed it on his bed side table. Luke was a fairly weird boy but it never bothered him, he was around 6'1 with lanky arms and legs despite having a toned chest. He was quite tan and had a silver nose ring, ontop of his head sat bleach blonde hair that was usually styled up in a quiff and had turquoise strips on the sides. He walked out of his room out of pure boredom only to see two guys running after each other ''casual'' he muttered and a small laugh escaped him.

Lacey sat outside of the dorms buildings on a small wooden bench simply staring into the sky. It was a gloomy eerie day but the sky was still a beautiful grayish blue. The color was slightly bland but perfect for what she wanted. Lacey was a slightly odd girl like her brother she was different but not in the same way as him. She was quiet and has adjusted to staring from the sidelines, on a day where the world might be ending Lacey would participate but it's really not her thing. The girl was slightly short standing around 5'4, she had long wavy hair that was a unique metallic silver color. Her eyes were a lively gray or dull blue which ever you wanted, she had a black lip ring on the right side of her face and had her doubles done on each ear. The quiet girl took a deep breath and enjoyed the silence that surrounded her, she didn't get it often that's why it was so nice when she did get to escape from everyone.

Rafael walked out of the dorm building entering another stone hallway down to where the classes were and then the library at the end of it. He scratched the back of his head groaning. This is stupid... he thought, rolling his eyes and entering one of the class rooms. He had remembered it was his first class only because its number was the first one he saw on his class sheet. He hadn't really taken notice to the others and pulled it out of his pocket as he took a seat all the way on the far side of the room. Farthest away from the door. The list included history on "gifted" beings like themselves, a class on how to control their powers and use them for good, and some other nonsense he could hardly care less about. He would probably skip most of the day anyways. He didn't want to be in this place, and had no problem making it obvious. The teacher in the room came out of a small back room filing through papers looking a little surprised to see some one in so early seeing as there was still a lot of time before anyone else had to be there. Though, he didn't feel he had anywhere better to be. He rolled a pen between his fingers in front of himself laying his head on the table. He stopped the pen holding it in his hand and looking around the room. Just like the rest of the school it was grand and showed signs of age and a glorious history that had yet to be told. The furnishings were nice, and the stone and wood were carved by old hands who had been good at their craft. It was defiantly a site to behold. He sighed, The only good thing about this place.... he thought, referring to the nicely built interior and exterior of the building.

Seeing no one inside Tatum walked inside.Tatum brushed the dirt off his pants with his palms coughing another feather up. That time changing back had hurt. Maybe because he had done it so fast but either way it probably wasn't a good sign. Tatum sighed shrugging and looking around again the empty hall. He didn't really know what to do now and with the extra time on his hands he decided to make his way to the library. Walking down the long hall he passed several class rooms of sorts, a couple he would eventually go to. He took his time to the library looking form side to side and taking in the building until he got to his destination. When he reached it he walked briskly into it walking down one of the rows of shelves and grazing his fingers over them. He looked a little hesitant at the book he was picking. Peering down at the two very interesting titles there. One being a beginners guide to handling ones powers and other people's and the other being misplaced was a book of children's fairy tales. For some reason it seemed to oddly fit the place in a way. So he took both, going over to the corner of isle and sitting down with his back on the shelf as he began to flip through the pages and read them. Starting with the fairy tales.

Sitting in the courtyard the sun was about to break the horizon and Ripley had finished a quarter of her book. placing it in her book bag she headed to dorm quickly and got her class books and schedules heading to her first class. Entering the room Ripley sees a grumpy looking male figure who is giving off an incredible strong aura and a shocked teacher. Sitting down at the back of the room Ripley prepares for class.

finishing her book she goes bac to the Library and turning it in she sees a guy reading his books. she slowly approaches him "Hello, What are you reading?" she asked kindly. waiting for his answer she picks out a book of Constillations and their histories.

Rafael looked to the side as another person walked inn and turned back forward quickly. The teacher giving a friendly nod to the student, "Hope you are both ready for today!" She said cheerfully, almost in a cliché manner in Rafael's opinion. Idiots, he thought rolling his eyes and leaning his head on his arm his eyes panning over the room and through doing so, got a better look at the girl. She didn't seem very special to him, well besides the fact that everyone here was "special". He scratched his chin, Yes, lock up all the "freaks" together in one place. Safe. He thought. He noted the fact that people were generally afraid of what was different and in an effort to keep them locked away it only makes them a larger force to be afraid of. Not that he thought any of the people here were a big deal, but normal people would.

Tatum's eyes quickly darted up as the other girl he hadn't noticed approach talked to him. HIs raised his head up slowly, "Hi." he quipped, "Its a book of children's fairytales." He clarified holding it up to display the colorful title, adorned with characters like, the match girl and animals some with clothes others with out, and princess and knights. He put it back down in his lap. "Its nice. Rather nostalgic I guess." he said rubbing his head and running his hands through his ruffled hair. Now noticing how unkempt it was form his transformation.

she giggled slightly and looked at him "I love the Childrens classics. But they make us shape shifters out to be colorful, when were not." she said to him smiling. "So, what is your second form?" she asked as she sat across from him with her book in hand.

Smiling at the boys thoughts having the same ones once upon a time. Idiots was clever to her, she had to hold in a laugh but managed. His horribleness was soothing to her. Most beings would hold in those thoughts and deny them from their minds. HE accepted them. People probably thought he was rude and arrogant but Ripley felt the anger and the misunderstanding of having to be here through his mind. The mention of safety even almost made her scoff, no where was safe. not for her, not for any of us 'students'. She felt she may get along with this boy if he would let her.

Rafael tapped his pen on his desk in boredom. If something didn't happen he would probably just walk out. He normally wouldn't since the teacher could obviously see him, but he wasn't in the mood to wait around in this dump. He shuffled his feet eyeing the teacher as she wrote things on the board in preparation. The bell was bound to ring soon right? Or maybe not, maybe only a couple of minutes had gone by and he still had a long way to go. With there being no clock in the room there was no way for him to tell so he could only guess and wonder if it was worth the wait. If he planned to skip other classes then would it really even matter if he just split now? He resolved it might be best to stay. The teacher would probably get him caught or fallow him out. He laid his head on his desk and groaned.

Tatum paused his light smile twitching, "How did you know I was a shifter...?" he asked assuming she may have seen him turning back that morning. He scratched the back of his head awkwardly. It wasn't like having an ability like that was special in this school or anything but for some reason it bothered him to admit he did have it. He was too used to the idea of people being shunned for things like this and maybe that was the reason it made him uncomfortable. He looked away for a moment before he spoke noting that if she saw him change back she would already know what he was. Though that only made him wonder how she knew them. Maybe some kind of unspoken realization or feeling. "Um yah,... I can only change into a red shouldered hawk.." he spoke slowly.
