History:
She lived a normal life until she accidentally shifted into an owl at the age of 13 and almost led her mother to insanity. She was told her mother was unstable and she had never met her dad so her aunt and uncle took her in until they thought she was becoming a nuisance. She would hide out in their barn and shift into different animals, often scaring the farm animals they had. They sent her to the school to get her out of their lives and she is still trying to figure out how she fits in.

Carmilla has a melancholic, sarcastic disposition; she is strong willed and often chooses to remain distant from people. She is a philosophy student and enjoys reading, although she does own a phone and has both a Twitter and Tumblr account, which she often uses to complain about people. Carmilla maintains a laid back, punk rock lifestyle, dressing almost entirely in black and wearing items like corsets and leather pants. As well as being messy and failing to clean up after herself, she seems to have a very loose conception of private property and ownership, happily taking possession of abandoned stuff, frequently eating food and borrowing things without permission.
History:
Carmilla was born under the name Mircalla in Styria, a Dutchy of Austria in 1680. Her father was a Count and, as such, she lived a wealthy, privileged life. At the age of 18, she was murdered at a ball and subsequently resurrected as a vampire by her "mother", herself a vampire. They travelled together and frequently attended high society events at palaces and courts, returning to Styria only once every 20 years to enact a ritual at her mother's behest.

Carmilla, under the pretence of being the victim of abandonment or a carriage accident, would take shelter with the family of a young girl and befriend, and often seduce, her. After a time her mother would abduct the girl for her own unknown purposes and then they would move on. This cycle only changed in 1872 when Carmilla and Ell, one of her mother's intended victims, fell in love. She tried to orchestrate their escape, but her mother discovered the plan and revealed Carmilla's vampirism to Ell in a cruel fashion. Thinking Carmilla to be a monster, Ell rejected her, and was then abducted by Carmilla's mother. As punishment for attempting to foil her mother's plan, Carmilla was sealed in a coffin filled with blood. She finally escaped during World War 2 when the explosives used during a battle disinterred her coffin and allowed her to walk on the surface of the earth once more. Carmilla only enjoyed a short period of freedom away from her mother before she was discovered in Paris during the 1950's. Lacking the heart to reinter her, her mother put her back to work, only this time at Silas University, where every 20 years Carmilla would be enrolled as a student and used as bait for her mother's ritual. Remembering Ell however, Carmilla waged a secret campaign of sabotage against her mother, doing her best to scare the intended victims away and attempting to learn what her mother really does with the girls she takes.

Giving off a intimidating presence but truly a sweetheart, Ramona is a kind and loving individual who just wants to be normal, or at least feel normal. She hates to be called Ramona so her anger flares often but she is mostly in control of that aspect of her. She likes to try and fix what's broken without thinking about how broken she is herself. Arrogance and rudeness is something she finds hilarious because it is a natural defence mechanism. Ripely is a complete bookworm and can almost be found with a book in her hands.
History:
Ripley was born in the early 1900's to Richard and Ramona Ryan in London, England( still has a strong accent) She lived a happy life until she discovered that her parents became so desperate in the year 1935 that they sold her to a farmer in wales for a a years worth of food. When she got the the farmers she was attacked by a vampire and turned. From that day she despised her family, especially her mother who initiated the transaction. They ruined her chance at a normal life.

Rafael slammed the dorm door shut sloppily and grunted turning slightly after the noise he made. He shrugged rolling his eyes. He put his hands against the back of his head and stretched letting out a muffled sigh. He had woken up late again. He had jumped out of bed managing to miss the dresser he knocked into that almost fell on him. Seeing ass he was the only one in the dorm it wasn't like anyone could complain. Well unless they heard the noise but its not like Rafael would care then either. He began to shuffle down the hall his eyes passing over the other dorm numbers.

Tatum, in his hawk form, unsupervised of course, flew over the top of the school and the trees round it. Seeing the risk of him becoming stuck in his form most teachers kept him from transforming, which he understood but it was like stretching before a run to him. he had to fly just a bit. And if he didn't ask them, there was no way they could say no. Though that logic still didn't entirely work around the school, or anywhere else for that matter. He let out a loud cry of delight as he let himself ride the draft of wind swaying the trees. He spun around though flying back towards the school. At this point most people would start moving and getting up and there was a risk they would see him. He flew down onto the ground and braced himself to turn back. He made a choked cry as the feathers popped and fizzled on his body and his mass expanding, breaking through the much smaller bird body. The choked sound turned into a pitiful cough as he leaned over the ground on his hands and knees. He looked down for a moment letting out a long breath, coughing again as a feather flew form his mouth and fell to the ground. He leaned up arching his back and stretching as he began to walk back to the large building. His eyes glazed over the windows trying to see if anyone one saw him, but the windows were to far away from where he was to really tell if someone was in them. He walked back to the entrance and slowly opened the door peering into look for anyone who might ask where he had been.
