▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Ƭαggє∂: Lucky▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬◥
Atasado hummed a soft melody, no song in particular, as she walked. She continued to keep a majority of her focus on the arctic fox that padded behind her with brutal determination, a smile on her face. She'd casually dispatched about twelve mutants in the past few minutes, more before then, and was careful - no blood was on her outfit, which was good. It was her most treasured apparel, after all - albeit a strange one. She suddenly had her attention snapped away by the sound of running, and her golden eyes shone as she saw this 'Lucky' - an obvious mutant. She tilted her head at this man, and she jumped in front of the path he ran in, bracing herself slightly. It wasn't much effort as she held her footing, standing in her spot like a wall, almost impossible to budge. Her goal was to stop him in his path, which shouldn't be that hard, even if she was rather short by comparison - something was off about him, so an outright attack wasn't her first thought as a 'good' idea. Her fox gave small barking noises as she hopped over to where her owner had run over to, not wanting to be left behind.

Vlandore focused on Lily after he had stood up, happy she'd gotten off of him. Christ, she was so short - to be pinned down by someone that size was just embarrassing, especially considering that he stood over... well, everyone he'd ever met, really. He watched as she pushed rocks to scare off the hounds that remained, before he rubbed the back of his head. "Before who finds me?" He said, before blinking back at her. "Oh, right. Government?" He laughed lightly, and raised his hands up. The markings were faded, nearly white - though not retracted. Meaning the candy had bought him some time, but not a whole lot. Could've been worse. "Eh, I can handle whatever they can throw at me. I mean, I already have. Seriously, don't worry about me." He looked around, and the crystals of light he had formed earlier for the hounds started to fade away, no immediate threat remaining.

Yuteik blinked at his answer, and her head tilted. She briefly looked him over, humming before she spoke. "Well, you look human, so... is that another trick you got from that job? Neat!" Her waved her tails absentmindedly. But after a couple moments, attention seemed to drift. A few twitches of her ears notified she was hearing something nearby. She sniffed the air twice as if to confirm the presence of a threat, then lightly placed a hand on River's head, the feline jumping down and beckoning Bandit back under the bushes. "Mrrh, this is not a good day, not at all," she muttered under her breath as she stood up, lifting her dress as she grabbed a dagger from the belt beneath it. She straightened it out after she grabbed the blade and held it in her teeth, before climbing up into a tree, getting a position on a branch and waiting for a few moments for them to be a bit closer. The rest seemed almost too natural: once they were near enough, she jumped down onto the back of the dog, managing to kill it in that action; a turn and a swing of her arm stabbed her own blade into the other's neck. The process was limited to just a team of a single person and their canine, and usually it went by without a hitch.◣◢◤◥
This time worked much better than the last, where she'd ended up shot through the stomach by someone she didn't spot - hence why she couldn't remember her hiding spot's location. With no such misfortune this time, she pulled her blade out, letting the other's body fall. She stepped off the canine, wiping the dagger on her dress before resheathing it. With a light sniffle, as if the action had caused her emotional pain, she walked back to the bush her pets were under, kneeling and letting River get back on her shoulders as she picked up Bandit. "This definitely wasn't the safe spot, not at all. I know I made it, so it's gotta be around..." She slowly stood back upright, a sudden pain in her leg alerting her that her landing could have been better. She tried ignoring it as she looked around, sniffing the air again, attempting to locate a clean path. It wasn't easy, and the only smells she was getting lead to areas where there seemed to be non-humans - most likely mutants - in danger. She emitted a low and distraught whine, trying to figure out what to do about all of them. Would she even be any help? She couldn't die, not permanently at least, but fighting made her feel sick. Not to mention how many there were...◣◢
