Atasado stared up at him, standing still ultimately as she listened, feeling a faint fear blooming in her emotions from having to be around this man. He was twisted, more-so than she had found in most others. One of the scientists was morbid, and unfortunately that was the one who did most of her repairs - but he was something else... She felt almost cold, and she looked down from his laugh. "I accept," she said without missing a beat. Even though she was certain she would lose, she had to try, right? If she failed, she could try a more hostile route. She walked over to a crate, jumping up onto it and sitting cross-legged on it, facing in his direction. "Shall we fade into our thoughts, then?" She said, staring over at him with unwavering golden eyes, still displaying a lack of emotion. She should have expected no different from a man whose title came from a creature such as a condor.

I looked at her and grinned " I thought you would " I said laughing my insane laugh as I jumped onto a crate of my own then I stopped laughing and looked at her. There was a look in my eyes like a man meeting a long lost friend " by the way atasado, you do have emotions, you were trained to hide them, and in my life I've met a lot of humans with a lot less emotion than you " I said then I smiled " there's not a doubt in my mind that you would win, but at the same time there are things in my mind that say other wise " I said as I closed my eyes. " let's descend into the madness, the hell hole, indescribable places which we have locked ourselves out of for so much of our lives, lets descend into our minds " I said as I began to think.

Atasado glanced over at him as he spoke, staring at him silently. She shook her head slowly. "... You are incorrect. I was modelled to be the perfect soldier. Emotions were obsolete." As she spoke, she turned her head down and pulled out her phone, plugging one end of a cord into it and pulling down the top of her shirt to plug the other into a USB port beneath her right collarbone. She shifted through some programs, before pulling up the one that would deactivate the lock she'd been putting over her emotional relations to her memories; otherwise, this would be impossible. "May the most scarred win," she said as she finished unlocking the seal, pulling the cord out and setting her phone aside. She straightened out her top before resting her hands on her knees, closing her eyes and falling into her memories.
She wasn't wrong, she was modelled as the perfect soldier. Though he, too, was right; long ago, before her "activation date" three years ago, she had to be trained to have her emotions subdued, or at least until that program was developed. The trials were mostly successful, but the program was a final stretch in finishing up her training faster, and making it far more lasting. But it didn't matter, as most of the time, as far as she was aware, she had no life prior to the activation date - those memories were sealed up with her emotions. But with the lock opened, she had vague flashes from those seemingly ancient memories, but nothing that she could grasp on fully. They were just vague images of a cold room, the same woman that worked on her to this day when she needed it, along with her adoptive brother, and some words that she couldn't really hope to comprehend. But she ignored those thoughts, deeming them irrelevant.

Condor
I thought for a second about what she was saying " that's an interesting perspective, but you have hatred towards this mutant which makes you want to be the only one to kill him, so if emotions are obsolete then so are you, so is the human race " I said as I began to think farther into my memories. I thought back to the day when I was a boy and the government wiped out my whole village, and for those who survived were either experimented on or they would pay them to keep quiet. I thought back to the experiments they had done on me most of the immortals would die multiple times when it happened. I on the other hand was different from an immortal, i guess the fact that i wasn't an immortal is what kept me alive. Any way they liked playing with my muscles and my brain, every few weeks they would try something new till one day they just gave me a suit and an ID, named me condor and put me out in the world. " ahhh when i was young " i said with a small smile then i frowned, why am i not crying , i thought to myself. I began to think about one time when the doctor had taken off her mask and it was my mother, the whole time it had been my mom, the thought shook me and almost brought me to a whimper.

Atasado shook her head. "It is only apart of my duties; I can make no use of emotions, as I am not to be apart of society," she murmured in response. She kept her attention buried within her thoughts, and her main memories flickered back to that snowy tundra she was stationed in. Nobody there exactly liked her; she was the freak of the group.
The story she'd told wasn't really true, either. Sure, it was where she had gotten Snowball, but that small detail was about all that was true. It was a group of mutants that didn't mind the cold, but they knew fairly quickly that something was off about her, and the three she was there with. What were their names? Anailix, Arenta, Kaiyen... other models of other builds... others that had emotional capacity still within them, because they were newer, made with better supplies and technology. If anything, Atasado was a prototype that was only alive for further experiments.
Memories of frigid nights outside after being kicked out of any shelter were prominent. She didn't feel the cold, nor did she feel any sadness, but instead burned with rage. She had no one she could trust within that group. And as the irritation built up too far, Atasado retaliated against the entire campsite; snow dyed red, and a mission failed, with three unique models torn apart in states that couldn't be repaired. She was alone for months before a backup team was sent to locate them, only finding her and the only company she had: a small arctic fox.
"She's more trouble than she's worth - we could have just kept Anailix."
Atasado shuddered as an argument between her creator, caretaker, and almost every other scientist roared within her head, her eyebrows scrunching up. She suddenly slammed her hand into the crate, slamming through it through the top of it with ease. It didn't seem like she'd realized that she had, as she raised her hand up and rested it back on her knee. She tightened her jaw, instinct refusing to let her pain show, and instead filling her with rage caused by a reaction to her own emotions.

Condor
I closed my eyes and began to think about what my mother said, I thought hard remembering every movement her lips made as she said " you are just another one of my play things, if you die I knew I could just buy another " I was about to cry when my attention was disrupted by her punching the crate. " HEY, leave the crates alone, I have to pay like fifty bucks if any of them get busted " I said a little annoyed. " and anyways, why are you mad if you're supposed to be trying to be sad " I said with a sigh. I closed my eyes and tried to think back to what she said then I sighed when it didn't work, now nothing was going to work, that's when I noticed the mutant was awake again and I grinned. " if I can't win i'll have a little fun " I said as I took out a small knife and threw it at him, right in his lung, if he wasn't an immortal he would be dead within minutes, time to find out.
lucky
I opened my eyes and lifted my head, the sack was still over my head so I moved into a more comfortable position. That was when I felt a sharp pain in my chest and I fell to the side, I didn't make a noise except for a scream, a sobbing whimper and a few painful coughing fits.

Atasado snapped her eyes open as he spoke, glancing over at him. "I will pay for it," she responded simply, before grabbing up her phone. Her rage peaking was a bad sign, but a normal one. "It is a response to emotion, not the emotion I feel," she answered him. She paused, holding the plugin in one hand and the phone in the other as she watched him. As he threw the knife at Lucky, she stiffened slightly, watching it pierce into him and scooting back slightly from the scream that filled the abandoned shelter's room. She stared down at Lucky silently, her gaze fading to become distant as she kept what hold she could on her emotions.
"Remember, Sady: You don't have to be the bad guy."
Her mind faded into a new memory, or rather, a series of memories. Her mind flickered over her caretaker, the women who'd stayed by her side through everything, even after that day.
"You don't have to be the one to kill them. Just capture and subdue."
She stared off in Lucky's distance, sure, but her mind wasn't focused on him. She felt a pain bubbling in her chest, the world around her more-so a distant thought.
"If you do that, you won't overdrive again. You don't have anything to worry about."
She clenched her jaw tightly, giving a faintly audible breath as she refused to give out a real sob. She was shaking ever so slightly, but not enough to impede her following actions. She turned her head down, returning her attention back to her phone so she could plug in and activate the program. She pulled down her top to expose the USB port again, plugging it in, before staring blankly at her phone's screen. There were wet spots on it, tears she hadn't realized were falling. She remained silent as she pulled out her handkerchief, swiping them off of the screen, before opening up the program and activating it, cleaning the tears off of her face as she swiped across the screen with the thumb that held the device. As it activated, she felt her emotions - the pain and sorrow, as well as the prior rage, be subdued, until she felt next-to-nothing again.

"Aren't you happy I managed to get you away from your crazy father? You must think I'm the coolest little brother ever!" Kotaro grinned, his expression happy and excited as he pulled his brother down the street. As he looked back at him he could tell that Aito wasn't really listening or paying attention, judging by his dazed look and the way he was holding his tattered pink bunny. "The only reason he's letting me go with you is because of his job..." He mumbled, his expression saddened. Kotaro furrowed his brows. "Ah, don't worry about it. I'm here right now! Plus, I'm taking you to the library, you like the library! So cheer up already!" He was practically shouting as he opened the door to he local library. "I-I guess, but please keep it down. Like you said, it is a library..." Aito kindly scolded, but Kotaro simply waved his arm, dismissing him and walking inside.

I looked at her and marveled as her tears rolled down her cheeks." wow, I guess your even more human than I am " I said as I stood up and walked over to the mutant, with one swift movement I took out the blade and cut away at his sack. " Never let it be said i'm not a man of my word " I said picking him up and throwing him to the ground near her crate. "please tell me what it was that made you cry true tears of sorrow " I said expecting her to keep her end of the deal
lucky
I was gasping for air but as soon as the blade had been removed my lungs began to repair themselves almost instantly. I chose not to speak, instead I chose to whimper as if there was internal damage.
melody & Symphony
I opened my eyes when I felt the vibrations traveling through the air. " another noisy person " I said as I shook my sister symphony awake. S; I sat up and rubbed my eyes then looked around " what do you want melody " I asked as I stood up and began to walk towards a computer. M; I looked at my sister" there's some one here, i'll go check it out" I said as I walked around a corner and looked through the book shelf, there were two young boys, one had a small stuffed pink rabbit, I was shocked when a small awww escaped my mouth. I hurried to hide and thought to myself " did they hear ? " with a little panic building up.

Atasado was silent, not responding to his comment. She stood up on the crate as she removed the USB, dropping the cord into one pocket and her phone in the other before straightening out her clothes again. As he cut the sack from around Lucky's head and threw him over to Atasado, she jumped down onto the ground, standing nearby Lucky. "I did not expect you to betray the deal," she said, staring up at him. Her golden eyes were hardened, steady as she gazed at him unblinkingly. At his question, she looked down, before turning to face him fully as she spoke, returning her gaze up to his face. "It was my Caretaker. After the event in the tundra, she was the only one who stood by my side and protected my right to existence..." She trailed off briefly, before blinking, refocusing. "She died in the battle on the island while she was waiting for me to return to the boat she was on. She should not have been there, nor should she have been in harm's way. Her words brought me comfort, in the past. Now I... suppose they weigh differently with her passing."
