With the loud sound of the explosion and the sensitivity of her hearing Lily has indeed lost the ability to hear. She hadn't told anyone nor has she noticed she went completely deaf. She clinged tightly to Vlandore not being able to cover her own ears. That is how scare she was of the area.

Kentacchi was intrigued by Yuteik's occasional sniffing and was impressed by her understanding towarda cats "Not at all, I trust your ability and..River was it?." He asked whilst scratching the back of his head as if recalling. He followed her eagerly "I usually get mauled by animals, except birds, it must be nice knowing what they think." Kentacchi laughed nervously, somewhat envying the woman he was trying to keep up with, one of his hands was in the pocket of his white hoodie as the one held a pair of black and gold die which were thrown in the air and caught continuously.

I looked at her face and a sharp pain jabbed in my chest, I didn't know what it was all I knew was that letting her see the journal would stop it. " no you can see it " I said handing it to her. The first few pages of the journal talked about how awesome I was, the next 13 talked about how I escaped and how I won many battles, and the rest were talking about daily life, at the end though there where pages ripped out, and one page left that was half way written down which read. - my name is lucky, and today me and my little sisters went to the park, I can't believe they're almost 3 years old, even though symphony doesn't listen and melody .... well you know, either way i'm just happy that their here-

Atasado gave him a curt nod and reached up, grabbing the journal from her. As she opened it, she read over its page, and then flipped to the next one. She displayed to be fairly fast about reading, as her memory was keen and didn't require her to think that deeply on anything to retain information. Within a couple minutes, she'd reached the last page, and after noting how some pages were missing, went to reading what was written there. She seemed to pause a moment, before closing it gingerly, holding it one hand as she dug through one of her pockets. She tucked Lucky's journal into her elbow, flipping open a small notebook she'd grabbed from her pocket. There was writing in that one, and a few doodles of people and animals here and there, but her handwriting was too small to be readable from a distance.
She didn't keep it out long though, and soon returned it, grabbing another one and double-checking it as she had with the first. This one was empty, and after comparing its size to Lucky's own to confirm that their sizes were close to one another, she held the two out to him. "You are out of room in yours, so take my extra," she said, her voice still displaying minimal emotions, if any. She wasn't even halfway through her own, so she didn't really mind giving away the spare. Not that she didn't have more with her in her home. Her gaze flickered out to the distance briefly, before refocusing on Lucky.

It wouldn't take Vlandore very long to gather enough of his senses to identify a pain different from the wide-spread ache over his body. This one was sharp, stabbing, and near his shoulders... His eyes widened, and he turned his head, looking back at Lily. He was almost surprised at how determined she was to keep clinging to him, but he had a different priority than honouring her willpower. The ringing was only barely starting to subside, but it was just enough that, if he tried, he could hear - even if it was still highly drowned out. He lowered his hands, holding back onto Lily's legs to try and get her attention. "Are you all right?" He spoke, his voice raised to a yell.

Yuteik nodded. "Mh, River!" She purred, waving her tails briefly. She frowned at his words, ears flattening. "That doesn't sound fun... But I can only really understand cats that well. I'm part kitty!" She giggled lightly, purring faintly. The purr faded away after a few moments before she frowned again. "Granted, some animals don't like me much. Dogs, big dogs especially..." She trailed off as her ears perked, one leaning to the side in reaction to a sound. She stood still briefly, staring off to the distance. "Mehh, are the explosives necessary?" She whined softly, tucking her ears back down.
Her attention was unsurprisingly caught by something else, and she walked to a nearby tree. She sniffed it a couple of times, before noting scratches in its bark. She rose her hand, spreading and curling her fingers as she traced them over the scratches. At River's meow, her ears twitched. "Mh! This is the right direction!" She said eagerly, looking around and bouncing toward another tree with similar scratches, now following a path made out by such marked trees.

Lily was breaathing fast and was yelling. "Guys?! Speak to me! Guys?!" She cried retracting her claws.

Vlandore didn't fully comprehend it immediately after she had yelled her response. He figured that she still had to deal with that buzz, and chose to wait - before it clicked in his head: she had feline features. Her hearing was much more keen than his own, and the blast temporarily deafened him, and still had it hard to hear. What would it have done to her?
He gave a shout, a sort of alert that there was a problem, before crouching down and sitting on the ground, setting Lily down. After getting her off of his back, he turned around, sitting on his knees. One hand rested on her shoulder, while the other pushed the hood of her jacket down. "Lily?!" He shouted, raising a hand to one of her feline ears, lightly tapping his fingertips behind it. "Can you hear me?" He asked, hopeful that she could. This wasn't happening.

Her ear flickered but she couldn't hear. "Vlandore! What are you saying? I can't hear you!" She said grabbing his hand and hyperventalating.

After awhile, the ringing in the regular's ears finally subsided, now merely a small "hum". Her gaze flickered around, trying to spot her comrades to see if they had sustained the blast. Lunar's eye's immediately settled on cat-ears, staggering slightly as she ran to her side. She placed a hand on one of the humanoid ears, sighing a breath of relief as she found no blood. She moved her other hand to the cat-like ears, silently trying to speak with the other. "Lily, Lily, are you alright?" she silently spoke with Vlandore, continuing to check the ears for any blood as well as the girl's facial expression to see if she was in pain. "I don't think she has a ruptured eardrum, but it's still a distinct possibility. We need to get her to a safer area if her hearing doesn't return soon," she lightly examined the ears for awhile longer before standing. "If her eardrums have been ruptured, I'd have to get the medical supplies to fix it, but then I'd have to..." the woman began to murmur to herself, stopping instantaneously before pointing to a mountain on the island. "Vlandore, take Lily there and find a spot. See if you can find Mayumi-she'll show you to where I'm staying as soon as she thinks Kotaro will be safe by himself. I'm off to steal some medical supplies," she stuck her tounge out, childishly, while slightly saluting her lover. "Well then, I'll catch ya' later," she added, already running off for the supplies.

Vlandore looked up to Lunar as she spoke. She always had a better grasp on these things than he did; he couldn't even keep his emotions in check when others were endangered. He shifted his jaw, before exhaling a soft sigh. He felt cold after Lily spoke, but he tried to shrug it off. He focused on the other mutant as she started to hyperventilate, grimacing. "Calm down, you'll be fine." He paused briefly, muttering a faint apology after remembering she wouldn't be able to hear him in any attempt he made of reassuring her. He adjusted his hand slightly instead, holding onto hers, jaw clenching as he held his composure.
He turned his gaze back over to Lunar as she pointed toward the mountains, gaze following off in that direction, before nodding. "Alright, I can do that," he said, giving a faint smile. He stood up slowly, raising up his other hand and waving off to Lunar. He stared off in her direction a moment, before looking back down at Lily. He waved his hand, beckoning for her to get up. "C'mon, we've gotta head out," he said, despite the fact that she was unlikely to hear anything.

Lily slowed her breathing and climbed onto his back. She knew sign language and she found out she was deaf soon after she couldn't hear him say get up so she would use that instead of speaking. She licked the scratches she made with her rough tongue surprisingly cleaning it.
