she sees someone in the woods and she quickly hides behind a tree. she made up her mind not to be afraid, if it was a hunter she knew how to fight. "Hello" she called out as she stepped out from behind the tree.

Elizabeth hears someone and her ears flick. She hears a 'Hello' so, she decides to say, "Who goes there?" She stays still not facing Dawn.

Edith Hall - Tagged: Open - OOC: Anyone open? And sorry for the late start!

Edith woke up on her thin mattress, her holed and dirty blankets askew. She groaned faintly and sat up onto the edge of the bed, working out the sores in her body. Edith looked across the room, to find that her brother wasn't in bed, but his bed made. As well as it could be, anyways. She sighed through her nose and raked her fingers through her ratty brown hair, walking into the bathroom.

It wasn't as much a bathroom as a rotting wood box, but she would take it. The bathrooms in the laboratory were much better. She kind of missed it. Call her crazy, but she enjoyed it at the Laboratory. They pampered her and fed her, at least. They even sent her a few blueberries if she was good every few months! A few injections should be able to make it up. However, Jason had grabbed her wrist and made their daring escape, for all the others were doing so. She had cried and screamed and pulled, but he just wouldn't let go. She blatantly accepted her fate and went to sleep.

They had both found an abandoned and old cabin in a dense forest last night, so they camped out there.

Edith stretched and walked outside, smelling the unfamiliar scent of nature. A small bird passed, and stood, pecking at the ground. Edith stared.

Jason ambled through the forest, swiftly jumping over logs and ducking under low branches. He had left early that morning, hoping that Edith didn't mind. He stopped to take a breather, taking in everything that happened last night. They had escaped. They had escaped. They had escaped the Laboratory. He smiled, a rare thing--almost laughed. He felt like flying, he felt like he was actually flying. Like he was one with the wind.

His feet landed hard on the dirt and chips of wood, startling him. Had he jumped that high? He didn't even remember jumped. He reduced to a jog, turning back, pulling down his shirt. Running his long fingers through his sweaty, messy hair, and shrugged it off. He was probably just really happy or something.

After all, he prayed every night for the Lab to burn to ashes.

Alex goes into the woods carefully slipping off his heavy sweatshirt and big boots. He finds a sort of path and follows it. Everything about him is on red alert. Ready for some action. He then sees a brown blur in the trees. He approaches it. It is some kind of old cabin he realizes. Alex sees a girl standing out side with brown hair watching a bird. He quickly ducks behind a tree hoping she didn't see him. She looked human enough so, she probably wasn't one of the experiments but he didn't know. He should probably ask her some questions just in case. He slipped on his sweatshirt, put up the hood, and put his horrible boots back on. Good thing he can withstand extreme temperatures or he would be a crisp of a teenager. On this hot spring day it was not pleasant to wear a thick hoodie and boots on fury feet, but he wasn't taking any chances. He stepped out from behind the tree.

Edith heard a minuscule commotion to her left, and her head whipped to the direction, finding herself face to face with a man in a hoodie and boots.

She tilted her head to the side, observing this strange man. She obtained his death date--it surprised Edith, to say as much. This man--he was probably working for the Lab. She could probably go back to the Lab, to her life.

Not without Jason, though. Obviously. Edith stared and the man, waiting for him to start. After all, who would start a conversation someone so dearly wanted to start?
