jack pressed his hands on the glass door of a cafe. pushing against the door, he was greeted by the aroma of fresh pastries and coffee. smiling, he walked up to the barista, ordering a coffee. sitting down at a table, he looked through his bag contence, waiting for his order to be called. *insert tadashi somewhere*

He quickly ordered, paid the cashier, and took a seat at the same table as a boy before immediately pulling out a laptop and began to type. He appeared to be so caught up in his work that he didn't even bother to notice the presence of the other male.

jack looked up from his bag for a brief glance at the person who had joined him. a blonde male. the sound of his order rang in jack's ears, signaling him to get up and pay. after grabbing and paying for his drink, he sat down again, only to see the boy typing a storm. pushing the thought from mind, jack adjusted his glasses and gave a small smile, hoping the stranger would notice and spark conversation.
