Trapped in the past-CLOSED I REBOOTED

Leah smiles and pulls away slowly "no you're here for more than just that." she says before giggling and kissing him on the nose. Standing up and going over to the waterfall, letting it fall in her hands.

Greysun watched and shrugged as it said access denied. "I guess i was wrong, oh well." he says. "Do you think it will tell us why we are here and not at the other ear?"

Nikki looked as though she had just tasted something bitter and wrenched her wrist away from his grip. "Ugh, fine, I'll talk to you when you're in a better mood." She stood and stalked off towards the other end of the cave, closer to Jake and Leah. How the heck does that Alex chick get away with it? she scowled, her eyes still locked onto Four.

Jake curiously watched her walk away and smiled after her. She sure did have a way of captivating him, even in the short time he'd known her.

"I'm not quite sure," Alex replied distantly, her attention caught by a flash of blonde hair walking away from Four. Greysun's voice seemed far away as she had watched Nikki run her finger down his arm, but quickly looked away to ensure she wasn't caught staring. What was this small fire that suddenly seared through her veins? She shrugged the feeling off and struggled to focus on whatever Greysun was saying.

Four was already in a bad mood with the conversation with Alex earlier. He was not in the mood for another women to come up and start touching him. He finally finished the eggs "Help yourself guys." he says to everyone in the cave, the eggs were rather large so each person would either get one or just a half depending on who was going to eat it. Once he finished the food he left the cave and started to grab large leaves and vines to try and make some kind of door way in the waterfall.

Leah heard about the food as her stomach growled. She smiles and walks over taking some in her hands. "Thank's four, Alex, Greysun. for going and getting it and Four for also cooking it." she smiled lightly before sitting next to the waterfall.

Greysun smiles "So what did you do before you were caught here?" he asks sweetly leaning closer to her.

Alex grabbed an egg, splitting it in half, and set the other half back down for whoever needed it more than her. She sat back down with her half and took a small bite, savoring the flavor in her mouth. Eating seemed to be rare for them, and she would make every bite last. The cave seemed much emptier after Four left. She looked up as Greysun spoke and tried to put her heart in the conversation. "Uh...oh, I was studying biology. I volunteered to come here because I thought the new experiences would help. I didn't really realize I would never be going back..." The faces of her parents popped up in her mind, along with her friends' and Jackson's.

Jake sat down beside Leah, allowing his legs to dangle over the ledge. He began to eat his egg and leaned down. "So, how are you feeling?" he asked, referring to her rather large bruise.

Four continues to work before climbing to the top of the water fall. He places some giant leaves and ties them in place, he separated them so it would cause a split in the water fall. It worked and now there was an opening in the waterfall large enough to be able to have one person at a time to go through. Afterwards he jumped off the ledge and into the water.

Leah looks over at him and eats slowly. She swallows before answering "It hurts to breathe but other than that, the bruise doesn't hurt as much when it's touched. " she says lightly.

Alex looked up when the waterfall seemed to miraculously split into two halves. How did he do that...? she wondered, distracted from her conversation. She ambled towards the opening and looked up, curiosity overwhelming her as it typically did. A large leaf contraption stretched over the top of the waterfall, and she briefly wondered what the river at the top was like. Was it calm, like the pool at the bottom? Or was it a dinosaur's haven, filled with deadly insects and snakes?

Jake nodded, "Well, that's good. I think another day's rest will help and then you can start coming with us to hunt and such again. Breathing is kind of important, so we want to make sure you can do that without it hurting," he teased.

Leah poked his cheek smiling "Yeah well, i would hope it's important ya know its one of the many things keeping us alive." she teases back. Laughing lightly looking to him. She tucks a small part of her blonde and brown short hair behind her ear.

Greysun was about to answer before she gets up. He frowns slightly.

Four surfaced and shook his head to free it of water. He climbed in the door way and goes over in the corner before switching to his pants instead of his shorts which were now drenched.

Avion sat in the corner eating his food slowly watching everyone.

"Exactly! That's why we have to make sure that bruise gets better!" Jake held up his hands when she poked him.

Alex narrowed her eyes as some mist sprayed in them. She lowered herself quietly into the water below them and swam to the edge of the pool. The sun streamed brightly through the trees above her, pouring confidence into her movements. She wasn't afraid a dinosaur would attack her without her knowledge in the broad daylight. She crawled out onto the bank, squeezing her hair, then made her way towards the side of the cave, where a rocky ledge created a natural ladder. Alex reached up and tested one of the stones jutting out of the wall, and began to climb upwards. Once she scaled the wall, she pulled herself up to see a steadily flowing river, which tricked over the edge to form the waterfall. Her eyes sparkled at the sight of a small rabbit-like creature lapping up the water, which she recalled was a Nuralagus. She ventured a little ways down the river, satisfied with what she had seen, before deciding to turn back. Suddenly, a large pterodactyl swooped down from the sky, digging its talons into the Nuralugas's side. It shrieked and narrowly escaped, darting into the nearby forest. The pterodactyl landed and turned, catching sight of Alex.

Four watches at he sees Alex leave come on what part of don't leave alone doesn't she understand "Alex!" he calls out as he climbs. He slightly peers over the top. "Alex?!" he calls again a little angered.

Leah smiles and flirtatiously nudges him to the side with a light push. "Smart butt." she commented laughing lightly. "Well atleast now we can see the sky..." she mentions looking up as her eyes glisten to the puffy white clouds that sat over the trees. She sighs happily with the view...
