Trapped in the past-CLOSED I REBOOTED

"I don't see it either," Darren snorted. "He's just so emotionless and hard as a rock. But then again, I'm only interested in the ladies, so I don't think I'll ever understand. Maybe you'll get something out of this," he nudged Greysun's arm with his own, smirking. "Alex isn't too bad looking." He winked at him.

Four looks at her "Just hear me out, he's cleaner than use, he's unscathed, he seems replenished which is not easy considering he's the only one out there on his own, he probably didn't get much sleep, but yet he doesn't have rings under his eyes. He comes in the pictures, the morning after Darren disappears.." he comments. He pauses "He hasn't yet, and that's what i'm worried about..." he sighs. Before he looks up seeing the waterfall getting closer.

Leah looks around "Ugh..." she huffs. "Yes, but Darren, he's always been off, what about him, did we really know anything about him? what if he does, i mean we haven't seen him since we fell asleep." she whispers slightly. "We aren't very good detectives." she giggles slightly trying to lighten the mood.

Greysun nods agreeing before chuckling to his comment. "She could stop traffic..." he comments. He thinks "maybe we can convince to try and bring one or two back..." he chuckles. "If we do a good job in there eyes of course." he rolls his eyes to their power over them.

Finally, the waterfall came into view, causing Alex to visibly relax. She processed all the information Four was spitting at her and pulled her eyebrows together in thought. Yes, all these things were true. He was unscathed with glowing skin and vibrantly colored clothes...but it doesn't mean he hadn't been camped out in a cave like they had and stayed away from the elements, such as the rain or the mud. The first time he ventured out was probably when he ran into them. She just couldn't shake the feeling that they weren't even giving him a chance, just because his arrival was a bit inconvenient after Darren left. "Why does that worry you? It would be a good thing that he hasn't threatened us, right?" She took a deep breath before continuing, "Please don't be angry with me. But I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. Until he gives us a reason not to, I'm going to treat him like any of the rest of us."

Jake laughed along with Leah, lifting his hand to scratch his head. "We really aren't good detective at all," he agreed, "Maybe we should just go up to him and ask? That would give us some peace."

Darren clapped him on the shoulder, turning his green eyes to the trees. "Okay, you should get back now. You don't want to make them suspicious already. Good luck! And make sure Alex doesn't look at my tablet, no matter what."

Four sighs "Yet is what i'm worried about." he mentions before walking to the edge of the pool now. He looks at her "Fine but don't expect me to." he said coldly. He leaps in the water, careful no to break the eggs. and slowly swam to the waterfall hauling himself through with the eggs underneath him so they wouldn't get broken with the pressure of the falls.

Leah smiles. "Well of course if we ask him, he's not going to tell us." she pauses. "It's a little weird. i mean we don't trust him and he probably doesn't trust us, so why would he?" she explains.

Greysun looks at him before slowly walking away "I can only promise to try my best." he pauses "I got to sleep too ya know." he smiles. Walking away and waiting for Alex and Four to get inside.

Alex sighed and dove in after him. She didn't want to drive a wedge between them by treating Greysun equally, but at the same time, her morals were telling her it was wrong not to give him the benefit of the doubt. She mimicked Four's actions, tucking the eggs under her body as she drifted below the waterfall, and placed one hand on the ledge, grunting. Her other hand firmly grasped the eggs and she started to pull herself up with her one arm.

Jake shook his head, "I don't know. I guess we'll just have to keep our eye on him." He noticed Four and Alex arriving and walked over to the ledge, offering to take the eggs from Four, who arrived first.

Four nodded in thanks to Jake and stands up ringing his shorts out. He looks around the cave before looking at Jake and Leah with misfortune.

Leah nods "I guess we will. then." she says before then helping Alex.

"Thanks," Alex murmured to Leah, before ambling to the back of the cave. She brought her knees up to her chest and rifled through her bag, searching until her fingers brushed up against a cold piece of plastic. She slipped out the small tablet and finally decided to figure out what secrets it held. She pressed a small button, blinking when the screen flashed to life. "How did he have a working one...?" she breathed before swiping her finger across the screen. She frowned as the words 'Passcode Required' appeared.

Greysun comes through the water fall with the eggs and places them on the ground, "Well that's refreshing. " he looks over to Alex and walks over to her leaning over her "What's that?" he asks with a confused look on his face. "Woah it works?!" he asks.

Four sat over in the corner before jumping through the waterfall and looking for some wood. and dry grass. He grabbed a giant leaf and put twigs and grass in it so it would stay dry from the falls. Before coming back and setting it up and quickly with ease starting a fire, he puts stones that were flat all around the fire and cracked the eggs on each one so it would cook. He watched the fire and did not glance to Alex.

Leah nods to Alex and smiles before looking at Four and Greysun and Alex. "Where's Tundra?" she asked lightly. Then turned to look at Jake.

Alex looked up at Greysun as he walked over, and instantly hid the screen. She hadn't planned on trusting anybody except for Four with the knowledge of the tablet. "Um, yeah, I guess so." Your cover's just been blown. She hesitantly lifted the screen again. "I, uh...found it. Maybe someone dropped it and didn't realize it worked." She really needed to work on her lying skills. Then, Leah's voice reached her and her breath caught in her throat. She opened her mouth to respond, but the words didn't come out. How was she supposed to deliver the news without feeling as though she was dropping a bomb on everyone? Without meaning to, she glanced to Four.

Jake stood slowly, looking from Alex, to Greysun, and to Four again. "Well?" he insisted. "Where is she?"
