✿ Arlyn Atterberry .

Arlyn was straying around the town,until she reached the one street she was looking for.On the first side,there was the town,while on the other there was the beautiful deep forest. She could see the sun rays reaching the ground trough the trees,making the grass shine from last night's rain.She walked closer and took a deep breath.The air was very fresh,normal thing after rain and she could smell every single plant and animal around here and even a few kilometers away. She could hear the heartbeats of a few animals near too as well as a few humans,which scared her. This meant she was getting hungry and she'd have to hunt again. Now,Arlyn wasn't exactly what you'd call the perfect predator and considering her clumsiness most of the time she just had to settle with a hare or ...or human food,that didn't taste good but it was better than killing an innocent animal,or even worse ,a human. Although,even after so many years passed since she turned immortal,she never even thought of killing a human. She'd prefer to eat grass instead.Ah,the day she turned into somebody else. She'd never forget that. It was back in the 40's ,when Arlyn was still the girl,who trusted anybody. She was playful and always ready to have fun and this is exactly what played a bad trick on her.This was the reason she ended up being a 'leech' as her little sister called her,before she died .Now ,she was reserved and rarely approached anybody,mostly because she was afraid of hurting them,even tough she had good grip of her self control. Arlyn snapped out of her thoughts as she heard and then saw a human and his dog passing by. She smiled ,greeting them and then turned to look at the beautiful forest again as she leaned on the closest tree.

Rose tracked the hunters scent to the inn. She saw that it had changed over the years. Rose backed away in fear but she wanted to thank him for sparing his life.

He awoke barely an hour after he had fallen asleep. He shot straight up in bed, struggling immensely to get horrifying images out of his head. Sleep was impossible for him right now. He had no desire to try and fall back asleep into the awful nightmares, instead he would sit awake with the light on. His neighbors were just lucky he hadn't woke up screaming. This is why he needed his own apartment, and soon. To calm his mind, he redressed into appropriate walking clothes for the outdoors and public. He walked outside, not noticing the vampire by the inn. He didn't really want to notice anything, all he wanted was a blank mind. He started walking down the sidewalk, his posture slumped and exhausted. He looked towards the brightening sky, and at the trees that were casting shadows across the path. Not too far away, he saw a girl standing against a tree. She seemed to be looking longingly into the forest, but he was too preoccupied to really care. He stopped walking as the images in his head only got intenser, he knew what was happening. He leaned against the nearest tree, breathing deeply to attempt to calm the flashback before it happened. No such luck, he was about to break down in front of at least one person. The roaring image of fire came first, followed by the bodies of his fellow comrades. Titus could feel his legs start to shake, and he sat down by the tree, resting his face in his hands. His whole body shivered as the images passed through. It was getting harder and harder to pull himself out of these memories, sometimes he thought that one day he might get stuck there forever.

The vampire heard screams a few streets away and by the looks of it,somebody ,probably a girl just got turned into a vampire."Welcome to the family,sweetheart." she muttered with a quiet,helpless sigh,then shook her head. Even her sire,that monster wasn't bad enough to leave after he turned her to the creature she was now.As much as she was nice and helpful,Arlyn wasn't in the right mood to go and deal with a newborn right now. They were always sobbing ,screaming and other stuff,just too emotional for her taste.Maybe after a few days ,she'd pay the newborn a visit,but not now.It was too early.She yawned sleepily and snuggled in her jacket.Well,she haven't get any sleep last night ,so it was normal.Plus,she was the kind of vampire ,who prefers to sleep during the day and go out during the night,it was quieter.Today was some very strange exception.Arlyn was just about to walk away,perhaps back home when she heard somebody walking closer and soon a young male showed up.He didn't look like he was okay,at least not mentally.After he sat down,the vampire cautiously walked closer and placed hand on his shoulder. "Sir,are you alright?" she asked,looking at him.
