Madison put her hands on her hips after she stood up and glared at him. "I don't care how in control you are,"
Madison snapped. She took a deep breath to settle her shot nerves. "Okay. Fine, if you think you can handle it, I'll concede. But if I get the slightest inkling that you are loosing control, I will be booting your but from her to Tennessee." She smirked at him and said one last word to tease him, "Puppy." She leaned down and placed a kiss on his forehead before heading for the door. "Now, I am going to the river to cool down and you are going to stay here a rest up."

Lukas huffed "You're not going anywhere alone. More rogues could come." He spoke and slowly stood, grunting "And I'm fine. I'll heal soon enough. " he spoke as he ran a hand through his hair.

"You could come stay in the Omegas den." Aleu said quietly. "It's underground with no windows, so no one could get in unless they can tunnel through 10 feet of cement." She tried to make a joke, but her head pounded so she took another pain killer. "Plus the earthy smell helps masks the scent of heat."

"Stubborn, pompous, jerk..." Madison growled under her breath. "You have broken bone and I will be fine. The river is less than a half mile from here. They wouldn't dare come back that close after the fight." Her eyes flashed green at the thought. "You know what, just come along. If it boosts your pride, so be it. Just don't get hurt protecting me. You're already hurt enough as it is." Her eyes soften a little right before she turns around and heads out the door towards the river.

Aleu sighed. Why do I even try bothering to help anymore?

Lukas looked to Aleu "Thanks,but she needs cold right now. " He huffed slightly as he pulled his leather jacket on before following her ou of the door. He walked silently beside her as his eyes scanned around the tree tops in the forest.

Aleu nodded understandingly. She was so glad she was the only Omega in her den actually because she could do whatever. She pushed herself off the medic floor and walked downstairs and into the basement. Aleu locked the steel door before letting out a sigh of relief that she had escaped from the pack and even barely talking with Roman. He sure was intimidating for an Alpha. No wonder he ruled the pack. She flopped on her cushiony bed her eyes drifting slowly to a close.

Madison constantly looks out of the corner of her eyes to make sure Lukas is okay. "You are clearly not fine. I haven't heard any flirting and I would think that if you were dying that you would still flirt. What's wrong, puppy?" She asked him with a frown and a pout. She overly bats her eyelashes at him with a quirky smile. "Come on. Let me hear one so I at least know it's the real Lukas and not some twin brother that escaped my notice."
