"I don't like being alone...In the dark...When I cant see..."She said, looking down. Emma blushed and looked up at him awkwardly.

Larc's face softened at her admission. Whatever he had expected her to say, it certainly wasn't this. And so he gave in. "Alright," the man sighed, before lifting his hand to brush his fingers through his scraggly hair. "You can hang around, I suppose. It is easier to navigate when there's more than one eye looking out." Extending his hand, the male figured it was time he introduced himself. "I'm Larc, by the way. You?"

Emma smiled while she looked at him, "I'm Emma." she said, still blushing. She stood up and was still a few inches away from him. She looked at his eyes and awkwardly said, "You know, I like you. You aren't like the others, you're interesting." she said, while her face got even redder.

Larc made no move to step away, but rather, he stated down at Emma, a bemused smile on his face. "Interesting, you say?" He chuckled softly, not really sure he had heard the female correctly. "Why, we've barely just met."

Emma shuffled her feet as her grass green eyes sparkled, "True but, I've never heard a law that you couldn't like someone when you've just met them." she said, while looking away and grinning.

She did have a point. "Fair enough," Larc responded, before turning to look at the hallway beyond them. While dark and dreary, he wasn't too proud of himself to admit he felt safer in a duo. "Well, we should get going. Not all of the escapees are as cordial as I am - I've run into my fair share of nasty faces in this warehouse."

Emma responded to him, "Same here.". Emma twitched her cat ears to the howl of a few mutant acid wolves.

With a nod in the direction of the girl, Larc set off forward, using his demonic forearm as a means of light. His piercing blue eyes were scanning ever nook and cranny - on the lookout for a possible threat. He had made sure his pace was easygoing, slow enough so that Emma could catch up easily. With luck, the two of them could remain under the radar. Larc knew that trouble was not something the two of them could afford in bulk.

Emma followed behind him. She shivered a bit, it was a cold night. She finally picked up her pace and walked beside of Larc. "..." She awkwardly kept walking, trying not to make eye contact with Larc.

The white-haired fellow soon took notice of Emma's silent treatment. While normally it was quiet he favored over all, Larc couldn't help but feel as if there was a stiffling thickness to the air. "Is something the matter?" He asked, turning his head So that his blue jewels could look down upon Emma.
