Harper finally awoke and forced her eyes open. Damon was one of the first things she saw, and it caused her to smile as she ran her fingers gently through his hair. "Good morning Damon." She whispered, knowing he was awake. "And good morning May." She added, hearing the clicking of her camera and her giggling.

damon simply grunted in response, burying his head deeper into her neck. may giggled "morning!" she piped before skipping out of the room, running into her own room. damon pulled harper closer to his chest, refusing to remove his head from the crook of her neck.

Harper simply smiled down at him and moved one of her arms so that it seemed to be hugging his neck. She continued to play with small pieces of his hair, and rubbed his upper back with her other hand. "I know we'll have to get up at some time... I just don't want to." She whispered with a slight chuckle.

damon remained silent as she messed with his hair, feeling her hand rubbing his back. a soft grunt escaped him. "we don't have to." he muttered, barely audible, due to the fact that his voice was muffled out.

"I wouldn't mind it." Harper mumbled as she closed her eyes again and sighed. "Are you planning on going back to sleep?" She asked, not wanting to disturb him if he did.

damon shook his head. "no, just don't like sun." he muttered into her neck, his arms wrapped securely around her waist as he lifted his head, eyes closed as he gently kissed her cheek before snuggling back into her neck.

Harper blushed as he kissed her cheek, and returned it with a kiss to the top of his head. She stretched her arm out to her window and pulled the curtains shut as much as she could. They didn't totally block out the sunlight so that it was pitch black in her room, but they made it so that it wasn't as strong. "There we go." Harper said and returned her arm to its original position. "Better?"

damon remained silent as he felt her gently kiss the top of his head . hearing the curtains shut, he lifted his head, golden eyes opening as he gave a small nod. "yeah. better." damon replied, resting his head on her shoulder now as he just watched her, his golden eyes scanning her features.

Harper watched him, kind of confused for a minute. "Y-Yes?" She asked, not sure what he was doing.

damon blinked, tilting his head lightly. "am i not allowed to observe beautiful art?" he responded in response to her question, his brow arching slightly as his golden eyes locked onto hers.
